Aggies gain a split with UCSD 78-71. It wasn't pretty but it goes in the W column.

Ags win 58-46. The Aggies had an impressive first half and led by 21 at the break and then had an unimpressive second half with the Titans outscoring them 31-22.

It would be nice if that would happen. I'm not sure the other women's teams in the conference would like to schedule us though!

Both the women's and the men's teams were hit the hardest by the Yolo County Health Official!

I read something about the Ags not having enough total games to qualify for the NCAA Tournament even including games they would play in the BW Tournament. I think they would fall one game short so they would have to petition the NCAA for a waiver.

I hope we don't allow them to shoot lights out again. They certainly had a hot hand for the whole game but the Aggie defense simply didn't show up. I expected us to be rusty but nothing like what we saw.

The women's program just seems to keep on rolling year after year. I'm still waiting for the men to find consistency.

We have a history of being a feeder program for coaches moving up to bigger programs. Hope we can fill these positions with some quality coaches.

The Ouija board always worked for me when I was a kid! I expected we'd be rusty but not this. For a program that prides itself on defense...yikes...this was surprising poor...

In traveling south next week, the UCD men — who normally would have flown to the weekend series — will take the bus as a further nod to staying isolated during the pandemic.

This sucks! We're the only county in the entire state that is not allowing intercollegiate competition.

A couple of weeks ago, the university and Sisson — after UCD began daily antigen testing for athletes — reached a compromise to allow resumption of workouts. But the ban on games, in or out of the county, remains.

It’s that last part of the protocol that has miffed some Davis basketball fans and has campus officials gnashing their teeth, knowing that Yolo County is the only one in the state with such a rigid no-play-anywhere edict

The Yolo County restrictions affecting the Aggie Basketball Teams are overly excessive. Caution is one thing but this is ridiculous given the small number of individuals involved, the testing available to the players and staff and the safety precautions that they are able to take.
