Cough Plough has once again announced that we have another commitment, yet I'm not able to find this one either. That puts us up at 3 commitments though (Carson Baker and 2 unknowns). OL Nico Sarale and DB Delano Ware did retweet a post about the Aggies winning against USD so those are possibilities.
New offer out on DB Jack Shippy. We're his first offer. Has 22 tackles, 3 interceptions, and 1 forced fumble in 4 games so far this season for San Clemente.
New offer on 2 star DE Zach Ritner. He's made a visit to Davis, but he is a highly recruited kid (has double digit offers, mostly FBS). Had 18 sacks last season as a junior.
Excerpt: "Prior to this season Carson visited UC Davis and ended his recruiting process committing to the University describing the school as a perfect fit. “They have always been my number 1. After the visit, I knew it was a great fit for me. Coach Plough throws the ball a ton and I have a great chance to come play early. Also, they have a whole new coaching staff with Dan Hawkins who coached in big time programs like Colorado and Boise State. Off the field, the education is amongst the best in the world,” says Carson."
I thought the deal with the huge class this year is that some of the new players are on FAFSA aid and only getting partials. So we might be nearing the head count limit right now but could have a fair amount of funds free
I hear there's some great fishing in Montana. ... where I think someday we should land a recruit or 2. There have to be a few studs who would like to come to Cali and get a phenomenal education.
We have an offer out to Oxnard RB Danny Smith, 6'0", 210 #s, physical. He has offers from Boise State, San Diego State, Wyoming, Hawaii and UCD. Via Scout. Power back.
"Through eight games this year, Smith has rushed for 1,389 yards (8.9 ave.) and 18 touchdowns to go with nine catches for 180 yards and another score. "
Sorry for such a big delay guys, I've been bogged down with a bunch of stuff for the last couple of weeks. The recruiting list should be updated now to include new offers and Irby's commitment to Arizona.
