We've needed better traffic control for years. We ride our bikes to the game. I'm absolutely certain that we were home before, had we driven, we'd have made it out of the parking lot.

They don't change the programming for the signals for the games so there are unreasonably long waits for traffic flow that isn't there.

How knew having good crowds could cause such problems - but great problems they are!

    Are things better for football?

Yes, Shaq's son is no Shaq. I saw that in the UCSB game. I think there's a reason why he has been at four different schools and it isn't because his talent is in demand. It's clear that he is only starting for one reason. In his four years, he has never averaged more than 6.7 ppg. and his other stats are just as dismal. https://www.espn.com/mens-college-basketball/player/stats/_/id/4684156/shaqir-oneal

"Was it a radio/TV simulcast? There was nobody up top where Wong/Dunning call the radio broadcast." I don't listen to the radio broadcasts, but I do know that the color for TV was done by Darius Graham.

I tuned into the varsity network briefly while at the game. It was Greg on the radio, so it must have been a simulcast. Once we got into our car, the broadcast was off so they must have signed off as soon as the espn feed stopped. I was really hoping for post game comments from Les.

Football is much easier for me. I get off on Hutchinson and turn right at the first light into the lot behind the scoreboard, so traffic signals aren't an issue. i thought that that lights intersection at LaRue and Hutchinson was controlled by traffic cops, no?

Basketball is just bad. For the normal Thursday night with, say, 1500 fans, getting in is stressful. You have walkers and bikes coming to and from the ARC toward the dorms, and the traffic folks don't bother to stop them and make them wait so the line of cars can get in.
