The AGS forum has a poll going for each second round game and the Aggie game currently has the most competitive vote as well. All the rest of the games have lopsided vote counts with the higher seeded teams being voted as very heavy favorites.
Massey has Incarnate Word vs Villanova as a closer match up, but generally speaking I think we actually do have one of the more balanced games. I don't think the Redbirds actually played all that spectacularly against SEMO despite the turnover margin, but I think they are capable of playing a much more complete game. I know some Illinois State fans were saying that their HC tends to go ultra-conservative with the lead, but that REALLY almost bit them on the butt this last week.
Sagarin has Davis rated 5th highest and Illinois State rated 6th, with Montana, Incarnate Word, Idaho, Tennessee Martin all bunched within little more than a point.
Any season ticket holders have issues with their ticket order? I thought i followed the instructions (season ticket renewal, etc) correctly, saw my seat numbers listed when I submitted my order and got a confirmation via email (didn’t show seat numbers but I figured that was because it was the renewal). Emailed today wondering when the tickets were available for download…..they didn’t see my order and sold my seats! Then they saw the order but tickets they were going to give me were in same row (t) but 10-15 yards toward end zone. Manager finally found 4 that are one row down from my normal and actually closer to the 50…so it kinda worked out.
But, if you are a season ticket holder, you should double check they’ve sent your tickets!
I’m glad you texted me about that. I was just patiently waiting for my tickets. It turns out according to the ticket office they had already been sent. For me they got my regular tickets correct and were able to send me the link for both my game tickets and parking pass. For team Aggie, they don’t know yet how they are going to do the credentials for the hospitality.
Every time I hear Tim Plough at one of these pressers it makes me realize just how lucky we are to have him as our HC. That's gotta be tough for Main not being able to suit up for the playoffs too. Hope he heals up well.
You guys were talking about Pat McCann a former assistant coach at Davis as part of a discussion of coaching as a career, and mentioned a shirt he made, but didn’t mention that he was calling plays for UNI in the 2018 playoff game. Odd coincidence.
As always, a great job. As a former Aggie Bandsman, I love that you started with “Aggie Fight” and ended with the “Alma Mater”. And excellent British and North Dakota accents Brock! The North Dakota accent had me in LOL mode.
