Not a good 1st quarter

Our D is going to get gassed by the fast pace of EWU's offense and our inability to get stops...not good.

The play calling is really conservative. It will be a long game if Hawkins doesn’t open up his play book. There is so much the defense can do against EWU offense

Refs are not helping, Tompkins was never down and they blow the whistle

Simply cannot afford to not score 7 in red zone. Seems like a Thompson roll out would allow a run or throw. If not just wildcat him with extra blocker and ability to see the whole line.

Right now Eastern can do anything they want on offense. They can run it, they can throw it. I hope we make some good adjustments. Their # 24 looks gassed. Just heard one of the announcers talk about the weather making them cramp. That might be our best hope! It's a lot hotter in Davis than it is up here.

it doesn’t matter how the D plays if you fail to score. Our D is already giving all they can to make a case for this offense. You will see our D collapse in the 2nd half if our offense led by HR continues their struggle
