The Ags beat Irvine today 1-0 and are now 2-2-0 in conference play.

The Aggies dropped a tough 5 set battle with Santa Barbara (31-33, 20-25, 27-25, 25-16, 11-15) before another nice crowd of 707 Aggie fans. The Ags fall to 4-2 in the Big West standings while SB remains unbeaten at 6-0.

I hear ya...not much to get excited about for Aggie fans currently.

According to the Montana fans this is one of the weakest Griz teams they've seen in quite a while and yet they just beat us in our house. That doesn't give me much confidence about the rest of the season.

Way too easy against a Grizzly offense that had struggled against weak competition.

I keep thinking they’re going to break out but no sign of that…

This game is entirely on the shoulders of the Aggie defense…

And we’re off to another poor start…

My keys to the game:

1. Dominate on defense. Don't give up big plays and create a turnover or 2.
2. Don't turn the ball over on offense and don't make critical penalties.
3. Give Hastings a couple of more seconds in the pocket.

As Hawk often says, this game will probably come down to 3 or 4 critical plays.
