Huard played in Cal Poly’s spring game Saturday, splitting time with Bo Kelly. He still seemed to be the starting QB.

Is Huard still considered a "5 Star" QB at this point?

he looked good against Sac and was their best option last year - just a very weak team around him. I suspect he is just searching to get on a team with more visibility. I think like a lot of kids these days - thinking the transfer portal will solve all their problems.

I see that his high school coach, who was the Cal Poly Offensive Coordinator when Huard transferred there, has moved to Stetson. i think thats a major reason he went to Cal Poly.

Polynesians are known to have great athleticism at a heavier weight and have no cardio vascular issues. Let’s not bash the young man on his weight he plays amazing down in the trenches. You should be ashamed yourself. Not a good look from a Aggie football fan.

princeton Toki is getting better with his weight from my sources. Good luck to the young man this season. Shouldn’t say the same about he or chubba. Both are of Polynesian descent. That plays a part of their body mechanics I believe.

The NIL era is getting interesting, highlighted by Matt Sluka at UNLV....Is guys quitting on their teams after 3 games to redshirt and enter the portal a new thing this year, or are we just now hearing about it? I believe a guy at USC (Bear Alexander) just announced the same thing....Now I see another UNLV player is doing the same thing?

These UNLV guys start 3-0 with wins vs. disappointing Houston and Kansas teams (and our buddies at Utah Tech), and now believe they should get "paid" because they market value has increased?

From what I can remember this is new for players to essentially quit mid-season over NIL. Also, I think this is part of why there needs to be a huge overhaul on this whole process. The near 0 regulations on NIL are only going to cause more and more problems going forward. To make it clear, I'm not really against Sluka in this situation.

Sluka is basically saying that he was promised 100k to transfer from Albany to UNLV and that he now hasn't been paid a dime. If that's the case, it's pretty scummy of the UNLV NIL collective and shows why we either need to really rein in the whole concept of NIL (to where children aren't making 6 and 7 figures) or just have flat out sign on the line contracts in terms of the money side of things.
