We’re at 14.5 point underdogs which is pretty much every line (except Irvine) that the Tritons have had in conference. This would be a massive upset. Somehow we have to slow them down like Irvine did in their first game.

Some important games on the docket for our playoff hopes. I think I’d like to see Fullerton win, CSUN and UCSB lose. And Irvine knock off Hawaii. I’d like to get more space (or maintain) over UCSB. We still have Northridge at home so we could catch them.

I think the two Nevada schools will bring interest, especially the first couple seasons. But if we’re not competitive, that won’t last.

We’ve hosted Air Force in the past. Not a real draw. I’m not sure any of the other schools will move the needle except to that part of the public that follows college hoops on the national level.

a few years backs, they had a night where they served the food from the dining commons and students used their cards there. Seemed like it brought in a fair number of students.

The real challenge is how do you increase the PAYING customers? When we move to the MWC and we’ll be hosting games on a wide variety of weeknights, we’re going to need a way to get more season ticket holders and walk up purchases.

Crazy we lost the turnover battle 16-6 and won! Free throws were a big difference. We were 22-27, they were 5-9 (free pizza!!).

Leo was huge last night. 13 rebounds and solid on both ends. Mani contributed 11 solid minutes - critical with Chappell out. Sevilla played only 14 minutes and took 2 shots, including an air ball 3. As many turnovers as shots, and he’s been our most dependable ball handler. I wonder if that was a matchup thing or illness/injury?
