  • WBB 12/2: Aggies (3-4) at Montana (2-2)
Is anybody getting anything resembling an image on the stream?
  • WBB 12/2: Aggies (3-4) at Montana (2-2)
I'll tune in, haven't had a chance to see a whole WBB yet this season.

The Aggie women have been a model of success and consistency for UCD spectator sports since they started the streak of winning seasons. It will say a lot about the program to pull ahead above .500 and churn out another competitive BWC season after losing so much talent and experience.
  • Lemon Logo Apparel
When I was a student I noticed the lemon-logo hats came and went from the shelves of the Bookstore; you would just have to keep an eye out.

I pounced as soon as I saw one and kept it for years, until I accidentally left it in the classroom after I finished my Solid State final...
  • WBB: 12/1: Aggies (2-4) vs Nevada (1-4)
There was a thread over in the football section about the Big Sky TV errors. You need to go to the top of the browser and "unable unsafe plugins" or some similar setting. Basically, BSTV hasn't updated their website recently....
  • MBB 11/29: Northern Arizona (2-2) at UCD (1-6)
First time in the Pavilion since 2016. I like what they've done with the lounge on the endline.

After watching tonigight's game I feel pretty good about the rest of the season. We can compete in the Big West with showings like this.
  • FCS Playoffs Round 2: UNI @ UC Davis
Ah, I wondered why suddenly ASUCD was sponsoring the student section.

Shifting money around was really the only logical option; I don't think we're at a point yet where students will pay for tickets.

Edit/afterthought: I remember being a little perplexed at SDSU when I had to pay $5 to see a home playoff soccer game. I'm glad UCD collectively has the means and will to subsidize compared to smaller D1 schools.
  • FCS Playoffs Round 2: UNI @ UC Davis
UC Davis must be the only D1 school where the school needs to make a conscious effort to get students to drink MORE on gamedays, not less.

That being said, it's seriously a great idea. RAs can get some of the freshmen walk over but hopefully upperclassmen turn out big for the cheap beer.
  • FCS Playoffs Round 2: UNI @ UC Davis
I think Aggie Stadium needs Kat more than the G1 Center environment does but I wouldn't be surprised if the pro team takes priority.

For clarity though, she's more of a stadium emcee to introduce the entertainment during timeouts than an Aggie Pack emcee. The Pack still needs student leaders in the trenches teaching students cheers, when to shout, when to stay silent, shouting "I WANT A SACK!" on a crucial fourth down stop, etc.
  • FCS Playoffs Round 2: UNI @ UC Davis
Same, maybe it's rose colored glasses but even the 2012 Aggie Pack seemed better than we currently have. I know an MC who was pretty good graduated in '13 and after that the leadership seemed to bounce around and was less consistent for the rest of my time there.
  • MBB 11/20: Aggies (1-4) vs Sac State (1-0) at the Golden 1 Center
I mean it was basically a tossup; if Siler's last shot had bounced in the last thirty seconds would have been pretty different.

I suspect this season will wind up like Siler's and Garrison's freshman season -- the team will lose some games it shouldn't and go through growing pains but scrape out a mid table finish in BWC play
  • MBB 11/20: Aggies (1-4) vs Sac State (1-0) at the Golden 1 Center
same plan for me; today was a glorious day to forget to pack lunch
  • MBB 11/20: Aggies (1-4) vs Sac State (1-0) at the Golden 1 Center
If anyone wants an extra GA ticket, my coworker had something come up so now I have a spare
  • Schmidt Back with the Bills
Great stuff. Wadman joins an elite crowd of Aggies who have completed a pass in the NFL
  • FCS Bracketology
I never even got to see a 6-5 season...
  • Week 12: Big Sky
Actually, UCD, EWU, and WSU all losing would let ISU tie for the title and (I think) get the AQ, now that I think about it.
  • Week 12: Big Sky
Oh dang I forgot they lost to Poly.

Hmm, that means there's now a path to winning the outright Big Sky title, albeit a slim one.
  • Week 12: Big Sky
Am I reading this right that four different teams are in play for the Big Sky autoqualifier?

    EWU if Weber loses

    Weber if they win

Idaho State if they win, EWU loses, and Causeway is cancelled

UCD if we win, EWU loses, and Weber loses
