“Not really Keelan-related topic anymore, but put this man behind bars“

I bet he walks. An acquaintance’s son hit a pedestrian, killed him, and left the scene. He was drunk. Never served any time once he was bailed out after being arrested from leads from witnesses. The only positive out of this is the young man got off booze and drugs and turned his life around. Apparently similar outcomes occur following fatal car vs bike accidents based on a previous thread.

“Everyone strives to be in this position at this point. We’re not perfect by any means, but there aren’t many teams in the country who can say they’re 7-1, so now it’s all about how we finish. We just need to keep being the best version of ourselves,” said Hawkins.

“This is the time when championships are decided,” Hawkins added.

“ There is a belief among the Northern Arizona football team that if it wins its final three regular-season games, it could sneak into the playoffs.”

“We try not to think about that and go one game at a time, but I would think we would,” Ball said of making the playoffs with a 7-4 record. “With our conference and the reputation of our conference, I think we would. But you never know.”

“ Northern Arizona’s defensive backfield has been hampered by injuries, time missed due to COVID-19 protocols and other factors. Ball said he needs the group to still perform well, regardless of who is in the game.”

Boy, the NAU forum has got to be the worst in the league. Totally dead over there.
  • FCS Football Polls Week 9

What i was trying to say in a round about way was that I think the Aggie team that beat Tulsa had a good chance of knocking off Cal. Clearly we are not the same team now. Sac was able to hang in there with them.

I missed today’s press conference. Anything interesting? QB chatter?
  • FCS Football Polls Week 9
Cal is not very good this year. They played their best game of the year last saturday. I think the team that beat Tulsa would have beaten them.

I suspect Sac is stuck with the stigma of being poor sports and taking cheap shots. It will take time for that to change but maybe some of that influences voting?
  • Week 10: UC Davis @ Northern Arizona
It looks like they average 420 yards per game, 250 of which is thru the air. They give up 274 thru the air, average. They have been up and down. They win against Az, lose to N. Colorado, lose 44-0 to Sac, and beat the Vandals. Off and on injuries maybe?

Is there an overabundance of receivers? He’s such a talented prospect I’m surprised he hasn’t found a home.

As I recall, N. Iowa was 7-4 we played them in the playoffs. BTW, they’re 5-3 now and have had a tough schedule. I could easily see them get in again at 7-4. Very well coached team.

20-17 Sac 4th quarter, go Bears!

2-1 would be a good showing, but Lordy, beat J Street tech.

Navy was like 1-6. Tulsa had several TOs. I watched it for a while.
  • Week 8: UC Davis @ Cal Poly

Reminds me of the time we were down by a score with time running out. 4th down around the 50 and Bob Biggs decides to punt. We were crying for them to go for it. We punt, the receiver fumbles on the 5 and we score to win. Can’t remember the opponent.

FARMINGTON, Utah — UC Davis’ Daniel Whelan was selected as the Roots Sports Big Sky Football’s Special Team Player of the Week, announced this week.

Whelan, a punter who is a senior, had another stellar day for the Aggies. Whelan finished had six punts for nearly 300 yards that averaged 48.0 per attempt in the team’s 24-13 win over Cal Poly at the Mustangs’ field on Oct. 23.

I still have the opinion that HR got banged up, maybe in the third game. It’s hard to assume he went from all league accolades to struggling with accuracy and picks without some explanation. Regardless, we’re 7-1! Can our defense kick it up a notch to keep EW and J street in a low scoring game? Either that or we need to find our high octane offense in a hurry. The late season bye should help, especially if our O line is healthy.

Didn’t know about the clear tote bags, thanks

Thanks for that, that’s the place 6th man and I tailgated at for one of the games. I couldn’t remember the name.

Sac has had the weakest schedule in the conference. We must beat them!
