Unfortunately the legal operations get muscled by the cartel/mafia. It’s a huge mess that exploded once it was legalized. I have a relative who is on the LE side of the issue. Hearing the way money and weed, both legal and illegal, is intermingled is mind blowing. I’m not sure if any of this was anticipated, but that’s what we’re dealing with.

Maybe the money to be made is in innovative fertilizer and irrigation supplies, thus the need for education?

Seems like Faulk had some reps last season. Another kid with impressive HS stats.

I’ve heard the accuracy issue for Tompkins before, but he is a really fun guy to watch. With the crop of QBs that we have somebody has to emerge. Redshirt freshman Miles Hasting looks impressive. High GPA, tremendous HS stats in a very competitive league (San Diego) and earned first team San Diego All-CIF and All-Avocado League first team honors as a senior.

As a side note, i have been able to get espn+ free on a trial basis. They run specials where you get it for a month before you are billed. I think i took advantage of that when there were a few bball games i wanted to catch. You just need to remember to cancel.

  • Jenner says transgender girls in women’s sports is ‘unfair’

I don’t need to ask “why.” Their opinion is good enough for me.

Thanks for clarifying the definitions. I’m sure there are plenty of other landmines that I step on.
My old gym, which is now a covid casualty, had a large group shower and hot tubs in both locker rooms. Swim suits were not worn. I was a member since 1980. My biggest beef with their locker room policies was allowing fathers to bring their daughters into the men’s side up to 5 years old, where guys were changing. Many would bring them into the hot tub. Most of us would clear out. Sorry for deviating from the main subject

Every woman i have asked the question, “do you have issue with a transgender person sharing the same gym group shower with the ladies?” has answered absolutely yes. They don’t want it. If i understand the definitions properly, transgender is a person that identifies with the opposite sex than how they are anatomically. Trans sexual is a person who has been transformed to look like that opposite sex surgically and pharmacologically. The whole thing sounds like a wild coed hot tube party

Personally I’ve had solid, professional contact from Athletics development and have never felt pressured.

The chancellor’s discretionary funds have been an issue for a long time. Ask anyone with a grant, especially if it was privately funded. The university takes a huge tax off the top. Here is an area where Katehi was cleaning house. Grants and contracts showed significant improvement in efficiency under her, and relationships with the private sector significantly improved. Those relationships can end up with sponsorship for a variety of university programs, such as stadium improvements. MIT represents the model for private enterprise-university relationships.

I’m not a Gould fan, other than he’s a nice guy. But i think he beat SUC each year.
