EWU scores on the first drive of the 2nd half 28-0. Interesting that it's looking like 3 of 4 quarter final games are going to be blow outs. Still a lot of football to play in this game though.
Halftime in the EWU vs Richmond game. Still 21-0 but Richmond has another fumble in the redzone. Not going to win too many games fumbling 4 times in the first half.
Eastern Washington is killing it right now. In the 2nd quarter they are up 21-0, but the story of the game so far has been their defense. 4 sacks and 3 forced fumbles so far in the 1st half.
Yeah I had already watched his highlights and saw his measurements, he is definitely on the small side but he can ball. That being said, size shouldn't be the only deciding factor when choosing to put a guy out there on the field. Height does help in seeing over the line, but Russell Wilson and Drew Brees seem to have something figured out. I have no idea if we recruited him to be QB or WR though.
I don't disagree with you, but a lot of those kids who go to schools like Bama don't think that they will ever ride the bench, somebody does but they never think it will be them. He will most likely transfer to a mid level FBS school.
New offer on a QB. Carson Crawford out of Beaverton, OR. Passed for 3,010 yards and rushed for an additional 786 last season, 37 Total TDs, Oregon 6A Player of the Year. This was his only year playing QB, he was previously a WR.
The last 2 JCs he coached had immediate success. He might not have a ton of experience at higher levels, but he seems to be doing something right. I'm willing to see what he can do (not that we have much of a choice). With how much he has worked with Hawk in the past this isn't really a surprise hiring in hindsight.
I pretty much expect at this point that Cody will be joining the staff (obviously I don't actually know or anything). Dan has worked with his son in the past and him working at LAVC with Coach Tucker seems like it would be a convenient move for him. I don't think he should be OC or anything, but he could coach QB.
With that many crossovers at the same institutions I would say it's very likely that they have worked together before. In fact, yes... Tucker was on Hawk's staff in Colorado and Boise State.
