I can only speak for myself, but I'm just not that into the sport of basketball if I'm being totally honest. I will always hope for the Aggies to succeed and I think that the new move to the MW is exciting, but especially as an east coast fan it's tough for me to dedicate the time and late nights to watch the games for a sport I don't love.
I think we certainly have a good class coming in, best class ever is still to be determined. I'm particularly excited about the LB and DB talent coming in. With the number of holes on the roster, I wouldn't be surprised to see freshmen playing this next season.
ATH Brayden Rosa commits to the Ags! Seems to be a pretty under the radar kid, but had great numbers last season... Defense: 127 tackles, 3 INTs, 5 forced fumbles... Offense: 2,380 all purpose yards, 32 TD’s
2nd signing period starts on 2/5 so the staff has just a couple more days to wrap up this class. I know that they have been out recruiting the 2026 class lately.
If this is true, this is a very interesting commitment. He was committed to Eck at Idaho and then dropped once Eck took the UNM job. Eck offered him at UNM and it looks like he may have decided to go Davis instead. He's also a very talented DB.
Yep, we definitely need to up our recruiting efforts if we plan on going FBS in the next 5 years. It's going to take resources to make that happen though.
I think someone mentioned in the previous recruiting thread that one of our QB commits in the 2025 is potentially going on a LDS mission. Plough has also exclusively recruited athletic QBs so it wouldn't surprise me is one or more makes a transition out of QB.
The 2025 recruiting class isn't even fully in the books yet, but the coaching staff has already put out a couple of offers on the class of 2026 so I figured might as well get the next thread started.
QB AJ Stowers threw for 3300 yards and nearly 40 TDs last season on a 67% completion. He additionally added over 200 yards on the ground.
WR Jameson Powell had over 1000 yards receiving with 17 TDs last season for Folsom. He already has double digit FBS offers. We offered him a year ago.
