  • [Sea] Former UC Davis star Chima Moneke is signing with the Sacramento Kings, according to sources.
Chima is the first. Preston N was drafted but did no make an NBA roster. Kudos to Chima!!!

Right on AggieFinn. Always loved the interaction with students, parents or teachers in purchasing the ticket. My wife knows that I will find "something" to ask about and I enjoy the answer. Often times you end up being given info about the team's state of mind and how the team and school view the game. Anyway, I guess that makes me an "old fart." I will try this year to make a few week-ends to watch CIF play-off hoop in Nor Cal.

72Aggie had the same experience at CIF playoffs. I LOVE high school sports but again another hassle to deal with buying tickets with an ap. Really not sure the reason why high school sports requires an ap to enter a game?
  • Buying Tickets Online
Agreed, Tough to buy game tickets. I did not attend a BB game because of the dead links. Parking ap is a hassle when I return to campus. Next time I need the parking ap, I just might park off campus and walk.
  • Doss to NY Giants
Cool--I see way more Charger games and would love to see him play!
  • Record attendance tonight (students and total)
Are the numbers of students really important? The important numbers are the number of tickets sold and how much dollars are generated for ICA.

Having had children in the grass berms enjoying themselves was great. We would always stay the entire game, and ate and drank at Aggie Stadium. If at Weber State and others the attendance is lower, but the crowd just as loud I would not worry about attendance numbers. My older children no longer want to go to the games and have their own sports, but I really enjoyed the end zone grass.
  • Week 3: Big Sky Schedule and Scores
Sac has a long history of starting fast in games and in the season. I have followed them many times to see them implode because they stop getting better!
  • Doss to NY Giants
Yes It would. After all the effort not to really make it the NFL, perhaps the CFL will be a great place to play.

Comment from Dee Vochatzer--UCD Hall of Fame track coach HEAD USA OLYMPIC TRACK COACH 1996

    Deanne Vochatzer
What?? You didn’t like our nasty little room with all the spit on the funky woo walls?? First weight room…then something better that we thought was the Taj Mahal!!! Glad they have something much nicer/safer… now.. how bout a decent/safe track?? Coach Dee

Track should be the next in line. The bleachers are gone and the track has rough and damaged patches.

As for the new room weight room, thanks for Bruce Edwards and all who made such a wonderful gift for the athletes!

As I stated the NFL is a billion dollar business. The cream rises in the league; make plays to show your worth. Important practices are filmed and studied, and next generation stats are used all over the league for games and practices. The NFL has Doss as currently a marginal player and will have an up-hill fight to produce and be on a team.

Doss was a great Aggie and our teams won because of his ability. We should be thankful for his time at UCD!
  • Week 1: UC Davis (0-0) @ Cal (0-0)
I agree. 2 of these teams were coached by Bob Biggs. I think he is under-ratted.

Here is the list for the NY Giants --WR: (7): Sterling Shepard, Kenny Golladay, Darius Slayton, Kadarius Toney, Wan'Dale Robinson, Richie James, David Sills

The NBA and NFL are billion dollar sports businesses. The cream rises.Ken O Brien and Bo Eason made it when we were D II. There is an amount of luck but in the NFL with so many injuries and such short careers if you have the skill, and talent you will play in the NFL. In the pro bb with all the different pro leagues you can land on a spot and work your way back into the NBA As for Doss I agree with 88 Aggie, I did not see separation or crisp routes of an NFL receiver. It might be that his road to the NFL might be in special teams. I root for all Aggies so best of luck to him and all Aggie grads!!!!!
  • International Road trip
I am pretty sure both polos.
  • USC, UCLA eyeing Big Ten move by 2024
Is this the end of the traditional NCAA with history and tradition? I am not sure; but could see a landscape that is minor league football with many sports being eliminated.

I prefer the NFL better athletes, better game plans, shorter game. College football for me is about us beating Sac state.
  • Derek Moore named head wrestling coach at CBU
Good for Derek.. After he won the NCAA championship the Aggie did a very nice and long interview. He was asked how hard it was for him in high school to stay at weight. He replied that with the large family and hard times, there was never enough for the family. To have come from such a humble background and win the NCAA title and make a successful coaching career is very admirable. Wishing him nothing but success!!!
  • Aggies may be playlng a big 10 team in 2027
    River Aggie--You are SPOT ON.!
  • Graduation cut short, 7 taken to the hospital
Rumor has it that the school is looking at the problems and will try to "mitigate the issues." What does that mean? Why not move indoors? UCD Is thinking about going into Aggie Stadium for the next 10 years for outdoor graduation. I for one don't think this is a good idea.
