Some of the Eastern fans sitting near me were confidant our team couldn't handle the cold. I wanted them to be wrong, but there's no question we had trouble with it. I don't want to say that's why we lost. EWU is a great team. We've improved tremendously but there's still a ways to go.

Movielover, as a former wildland firefighter I can't agree that more logging would make the difference. That said, there's plenty of disagreement among firefighters on that issue. Trying to buy my ticket for the game and am having trouble with the EWU website. I've registered, selected my seat and hit 'Continue' but nothing seems to happen. Anyone else have issues?

Cheney is pretty small, and there isn't much to do. But if you have time, look at their fitness center. Great facility with an ice rink. Spokane has Manito Park in the South Hill neighborhood and Riverfront Park downtown. If you have time it's worth crossing the border and visiting Coeur d'Alene, Beautiful lake, and Hudson's on Sherman Avenue across from the resort has the best burgers. But carry cash, they don't take credit/debit cards, and no fries.

, Cheney is pretty small. My son's hockey team played its home games there and I was up regularly. It's pretty, but there aren't a whole lot of restaurant choices. Spokane is close by and has more choices for food. It can be kind of grim in the winter, but it will still be nice enough when the game is played. I was planning to go, but my wife has to go to Rossland BC that day and I'm going with her instead of to the game.
