The Stanford game, Hail Bakari, Causeway 2010 with a Thunderstorm comeback, the UNI and Illinois State playoff games, and probably the Montana or PSU games this year but it could be recency bias.

As an alum who lives out-of-state, it is far easier to follow football. It is only played once a week, and FCS games are almost always on Saturdays. I really love baseball and football but basketball is just very casual to me. It's not something I follow that closely.

Wow, I never thought about it in that manner. Could it be that they think their program will not survive if left in FCS so they are trying to get supporters to fund this since otherwise they'd have no shot?

Alum connections, your money goes further, South Dakota has lower taxes, but probably the ideal of coaching for a great FCS team at your alma mater won out. He also started as a GA at Sioux Falls so he's connected to SD.

It makes sense to build our near Sierra College. The eastern suburbs have money and a growing population. Plus you can reach some adults who might not want a fully online experience but don't want to commute to J St. We did something similar with West Village on a smaller scale. It is all the more important for CSUs with service areas. It provides a better transfer experience.

I went to Chabot College in Hayward and there was a decent amount of money and programs used to funnel transfer students across town to CSU Easy Bay, about 10-15 minutes away by car or 40 mins by bus. Lots of adults going back to school like the convenience and some courses like science labs are better done in person.

Ags officially announced their schedule today and that they would have night games.

WSU has good TV viewership and has a strong following in Seattle and Spokane.

Oregon State also gives access to Portland.

Sac State actually has a tough schedule in 2025. Some of their recent seasons have been cupcakes like their 12-0 year.

They will all leave the next year.

In 2009 or 2010 in the early spring, there was an event at Aggie Stadium on a quiet Saturday. They had us chanting certain phrases. I recall us chanting "Rondo! Rondo! Rondo!" So it was probably their NBA game. They also allowed us to turn in other college apperal in exchange for leftover Aggie Pack shirts. I think it was the year of the ugly house design but I can't remember.

I like cheering against Sac State but the "state school" chant we go against them and Poly IS stupid because we are a public school and the whole UC vs CSU rivalry is silly.

I assume the Macon, GA location is in case of gulf hurricanes in August?

For all the trash talk, its not unusual to see a Sac undergrad go to Davis for Grad School or vice versa for a masters in education. Know a few people who did either.

My cousin was a Davis grad in 02 or 03 and did Sac for her special Ed program or whatever it was.

One if my dad's closest friends is a Sac grad but is a very proud alum of UC Davis' King Law school.
Another friend a few classes below mine graduated from Davis but works at Sac State for a community outreach program.

The CSU vs UC thing is overblown. We're rivals so deal with it. We laugh at Sac but we don't laugh at Portland State or Northern Colorado.
