Yes, thanks for posting Russ. I enjoyed reading all of them after we got home.

The women only have one more game before league play. Seems like odd scheduling to only have 2 games during the holiday break. At least it will give them plenty of time to practice. Last nights game was the best I've seen them play this year. Offense got a little stagnant in the 2nd half, but the defensive effort was there. St. Mary's had a couple of very capable low post players that hurt us. We'll have to work on our interior defense for when we face CSUN and their 6'4" stud Channon Fluker.
  • Coach Les Expresses His Frustration with His Team
I'm surprised to see this in the paper, but not at all surprised at the coach's frustration. If you've followed this team back to when Les just started here, he would express his frustration during games by stomping his foot VERY loudly. That has mostly gone away over the last few years - not that he still doesn't express his feeling to his players during the game, just that the foot stomping seemed to be saved for the highest level of frustration. Well it came back during the first half on Sunday. Between that, and TJ not starting, you figured the coach was at his boiling point. It will be interesting to see how the team reacts. Band together and fight through it, or recoil into a ball of self doubt.

Great game. Very entertaining and a great shot by bertsch to win it. Both teams hustled. A few more free throws down the stretch would have been nice but overall a lot of fun
  • MBB 12/16: William Jessup (7-3) @ UCD (2-7)
I got a kick out of the Chancellor and his wife (in the cushy chairs in front of the "lounge") heckling the refs last night. They were both very much into the game!

By the way, verbal commits said we have a new offer out to Malcolm Johnson, Juco wing from College of SF. He leads the team in pts and rebounds...he reminds me of Lawrence White, smart, athletic with a lot of energy on the court. Not the big guy we seem to be lacking for next year, but certainly looks like a good addition, IF he commits.

yeah Printup did play well. A couple of good defensive rebounds too, which really shouldn’t have been noteworthy but was.

don’t know what they’re going to do when the kids are back in session. That area was the overflow student section. Maybe put the extra students next to the band?

Well much better in the second half. Loved seeing Nelson and squire get more time. Even Underwood got some minutes.

Yeah wonder why he didn’t start

And no tj. Tj is dressed but isn’t starting. I think John is limping a bit.

Looks like John and Gonzalez are in street clothes.
  • WBB (5-5) 12/15 @ USF (3-5)
I’ll be there with the kids. Go Ags!
  • WBB (5-5) 12/15 @ USF (3-5)
I was here too Russ. Just couldn’t watch and post. This felt like a game we should have won by double digits. You’re right lots of missed open 3’s. But a road win is always good. St.Marys should be a good battle on Monday
  • WBB (5-5) 12/15 @ USF (3-5)
    Let’s go Ags!
  • MBB Signs 3 New Players
Well, for what it's worth, Verbal Commits is now showing Delveion Jackson as officially transferred from UCDavis. Wish we got to see him develop as an Aggie, but good luck to the young man
  • New MBB Recruit from Sweden
Couldn't find any recruiting video of Gehrke, but I did find this whole game video from 2017 U18 Euro championships, pitting current Agge Caleb Fuller for Great Brittan, vs future Aggie Oliver Gehrke of Switzerland. Click Here if you have some free time before the next aggie game.

If you're wondering, Fuller scored 11 pts on 50% shooting with 2 rebounds, Gehrke scored 13 pts on only 28% shooting, but with 7 boards and 3 assists.
  • WBB Signs High Scoring 6'5 Center
    Looks like a great addition
  • New MBB Recruit from Sweden
sounds like he will eventually slot into the garrison Goode roll
  • New MBB Recruit from Sweden
Well he has size and international experience.

For what it's worth, Eurobasketball ranked him the 37th best player born in 2000.
  • Get the Band-uh to Cheney
A video posted about the bands trip. Thanks to everyone who helped!
