I honestly think a lineup of Carreon/Turner/Harris/Konrad/Stobbart will be favored to win it all again next year, especially when you factor in the consistent excellence of coach Gross and staff. There’s talent on the bench that will step up next year along with a couple of high level recruits. Konrad will step into the do everything Hall role, Stobbart will continue to dominate defensively and will increase her offensive production, Turner will be a league leader in points...I could go on but I think we’ve learned over the years that even as we graduate important players, the system keeps rolling along.

Let’s go take Vegas.

I get that our rebounding scheme asks the bigs to block out and the guards/wings come in to grab the ball but boy we sure look like we are standing around looking at the ball instead of aggressively going for it. Ugh!

Game against Bake will be a battle of pace I think. They’ll want to get up and down while we’ll probably slow it down. Should be an interesting one.

I agree about Murphy. Les is not letting him go too long so his inexperience doesn’t get exposed, but has definitely shown glimpses on both ends. The little hook in the first half was very smooth.

Frustrating game. I guess playing as poorly as we did and still having a chance at the end is some solace. We could have used Ba. Saw him in a soft wrap on his wrist so that doesn’t sound like he’ll be back tomorrow. Maybe later this week?

Sound is back for me

my son goes to wsu which is about 10 miles from Moscow. SWA has a few direct flights to Spokane then about 1 1/2 hr drive to Moscow. Or fly to SeaTac then Alaska air to Pullman airport. That’s dicey this time of year.

Big West new release about the tournament seeding. Some new interpretation of the rules. They are saying that if two teams are tied with the most games played, you would drop BOTH of them from the Average Games Played calculations.

CSU Bakersfield and Hawai‘i have played the most games (16) and UC Davis the least (8). Those teams are dropped from the average formula. Total games played among teams in the formula equals 84, divided by number of teams in the formula (7) = 12 games.

That's a good question. I thought fall would be difficult because my wife and I enjoy going to the football games and listening to the band-uh. But since the team wasn't playing, it didn't feel like I was missing out. Spring might be harder knowing that there is a game going on RIGHT OVER THERE and we can't go. Winter was very hard for me as I usually go to all the b-ball games that I can. Plus with the kids home, that would have been a lot of fun (reliving their childhoods). I was even hoping that the BW would allow some fans in Vegas as the b-ball tournament is always a fun couple of days. Oh well...next year I guess.

I was wondering if you've been catching some UH games. I've tried to watch a smattering of BW teams but haven't seen any UH either. Feels like a split weekend, as you said, based on common opponents. We should finish either 3rd or 4th if we split and UH would probably finish 6th (all depends on some other outcomes). Decent chance that we see them again in the first round of the BWT in the 3 vs 6 contest.

You're right, 7vs10 and 8vs9, winners play 1 and 2 with 3vs6 and 4vs5.
