    GREAT ROAD W!

The color guy in the booth knew everything about football....super sharp, knew what was coming. I learned a lot from listening to him. He had a lot of positive things to say about Davis and the coaching staff. I was surprised to find out in the second half it was Mike Kramer (head coach @ EWU, MSU and ISU).

I haven't had that much fun watching the Ags play football in a long time. Whatever Plough was taking down at NAU I want some.

The Aggies are 150% better coached in every facet of the game. Very noticeable.

I know it was a score to land Jalani Eason for PSU, but man, he was hurting his team out there. Kramer explained it well saying something to the effect of 'you can't QB effectively just running around not seeing anything or understanding what is happening downfield, especially as a true fresh.'

I hope Layton is ok. Looked like he hurt his knee. Was playing a great game till that point.

Not to pile on to the previous coaching regime....but what a difference coaching can make!
  • Week 2: University of San Diego @ UC Davis
    A few rando-notes.....

Logan Montgomery- hopefully they work him into the offense more. The catch and run he made on the East sideline was scary good. What an athlete.

-Doss is a stud (duh). Man amongst boys out there. Hopefully he doesn't go by way of Josh Kelley...yes, they both belong in the PAC12.

-Maier looks great. Does anyone find it nerve-wracking that the nose of the ball on throws under 12-15 yards in pointed straight at the ground? He misses low often (relatively).....I guess its better than sailing it though.

-Someone mentioned #75 on USD OL. Looks like they landed their own Elliot Vallejo!

-There is a very noticeable improvement in team moral.

-PSU and Weber are scary. Weird to see EWU get wiped out 2 weeks in-a-row.

but those helmets are really shiny. It's almost like they never get put on the ground.Zander

    ^^^^ YES
Back to Aggie football. The way it is supposed to be. I am loving every bit of this. The updated uniforms that honor the past, the stadium upgrades, the coaching staff, the AD.....so far, so great.
  • Aggie Stadium
Looking great! Looking forward to seeing it in-person tomorrow.

Heck, if we get a W people might keep coming back!
  • Josh Kelly is redshirting at UCLA
I called this a few times..........not surprised he ended up at a Pac-12 school.
  • Big Sky Kickoff - Skyline Sports
Just watched the Hawkins interview. Fired up!
  • Sping Football
    1. They want our offense to attack.
    2. Plough says our players are under developed mechanically.
    3. CJ Spencer thinks the team is closer.

So, the level of coaching was sub-par.........
  • Done with baseball.
Sounds like Vaughn just doesn't really care to be honest.
9.99/10 coaches fly-off over something like that.
  • WBB WNIT: Aggies (24-7) @ Colorado State (25-8)
Wow!. The ladies in the NIT Sweet 16. Pretty awesome!
  • #16 Aggies (23-12) vs #1 Kansas (28-4)
Play to win, baby. You never know.
  • Aggies defeat Utah Valley State !
Took my Little League team out to Dobbins today. Beautiful day for baseball (albeit a little chilly).

The Ags were great sports before the game, coming over to say hi to my boys (and daughter). Made me an extremely proud alum.

We are from Pleasant Hill and so is Chris Brown LHP #40. He told the boys how he played PHBA (Pleasant Hill Baseball Association) not long ago, just like them. The boys loved it.
Great experience for the kids. The Ags gave them a few balls. I couldn't tell who it was, maybe Connor Loar gave my 4 year old daughter a ball and melted her heart (mine too).

    Great come-from-behind, walk-off win too!

    UCSD in the BWC?

Another nice roadie for the kids....

UCSD has a pretty substantial gym. But they suffer from the same affliction as we do: seats too far from the court.
    RIMAC Arena seats 5,000

    Educated fan here....
I saw Tedford take over a 1-11 Cal team with sleepy Tom Holmoe recruits and go 7-5 in his first year.

Hawkins has more to work with (relatively) in my opinion, and I expect a Tedford-like rise.

I want the Ags to win now
  • ESPNU Returns to The Pavilion on 2/25 v. LBSU
and......who used to love having their toes right on the paint in the student section?! Talk about home-court advantage. I've never had more fun watching basketball, and probably never will.
  • ESPNU Returns to The Pavilion on 2/25 v. LBSU
FAAAAR too much space between the basket and the stands behind them at the Pavilion. It takes those fans completely out of the game.
  • MBB: UCSB (2-10) @ the Aggies (8-7)
Are the students going to be in town for the Cal Poly game this Saturday????
  • MBB: UCSB (2-10) @ the Aggies (8-7)
1-0 in Big West play. Any Conference win is a BIG win!
  • MBB: UCSB (2-10) @ the Aggies (8-7)
Yep! Gauchos have 1 DI win: vs. CSU Bakersfield (who is 9-6 currently).
The rest of the season is a toss-up.
UCSB S.O.S. is #23 to our #304. Out of 351 teams! With our schedule we should be freaking 13-2 at least if we really want to talk about 1st place.

Every school has athletes in easy majors, don't kid yourself.
