The '22 neglect made '23 a snub. 2 years in-a-row Davis belonged. This year I still think we are already in. Committee loves their ranked teams.

My opinion: Davis is already in. This Causeway is just like 2023, but in reverse (if Davis loses).

Committee can't let themselves leave a season-long ranked team (top 10 for nearly all of it) out over an unranked team.

Every Causeway is a toss up. Last year as a prime example.....and every D2 Aggie team that housed their D1 rival.

Causeway is always a must-win, but I think Davis is already in as a top-15 team with 7 (8) wins.

In 2023 Sac was a top-10 team, lost 2 of its last 3 games, of course the last game to Davis.
Still got in. Committee just can’t allow themselves to leave ranked teams out, and let unranked teams in (like Davis was). Davis won 3 in a row to end the season that year.

Potentially perfect reversal of the 2023 situation.

6 sacks and QB pressure on nearly every down was the story in my eyes.
Davis defense played pretty great.
I think Plough might talk about how he wasn’t able to get his QB more time in the pocket. Might have just been impossible, as Montana State is just as good as advertised all over the field.

Pinnick carried 22 times (5 more than Fisher). The offense wasn’t able to function properly due to MSU’s great second half QB pressure.

Pressuring a young QB is the best gameplan. As phenomenal an athlete as Pinnick is, he couldn’t do it all himself.
