I agree, I think with CAL and UCLA we'll always be UC-whatever, if we can run with "Davis", the more we can separate ourselves.

Great game! Believe it or not, that was the last home game I attended. Life gets in the way sometimes. Soon it will slow down, and I'll be back every year.

I'm not saying we were not going to compete in the Big Sky Conference. Maybe not necessarily a "rebuilding year" in the traditional sense of starting from scratch, but rather a season of navigating transitions, building chemistry with new talent (including transfers). We lost our best quarterback ever by the numbers and our best running back ever, along with some key starters on defense. No disrespect intended. These are just facts.

Isn’t this supposed to be a rebuilding year? And we made it into the quarterfinals! I know every team has injuries, but come on, we were missing some major players. This tells me we’re on the right track and that we’re getting deeper. The future is bright.

I believe we all got swept up in the hype. This year, I’ve watched more Sacramento State football than I have in all previous years combined. I’m optimistic that they’ll overcome this setback and continue moving forward. One distraction has been eliminated, leaving them with one more to contend with.

I genuinely don’t want to be “that guy” … buuuuuuut … we were planning to revisit this topic in December and discuss how Sacramento State was making all the right moves while we remained complacent. I apologize for bringing this up, but if I recall correctly, you were quite vocal about their actions.

Is there a possibility that the FCS committee might silently penalize Sacramento State and exclude a four-loss team from the FCS playoffs, considering the “JV” comments?
