I was at the Oregon State game, wow, what a great game.

RB Lan Larison and punter Mitch Wishnowsky have been elevated from the practice squad for tonight's game.

The color announcer last night might have been the worst I have ever heard. I counted 13 baseball analogies, among countless other weird things

The Patriots also signed 12 players to the practice squad: S Mike Brown, WR Kyle Dixon, WR Cameron Dorner, DT Eric Gregory, RB Hassan Haskins, RB Lan Larison, T Lorenz Metz, DT Jeremiah Pharms Jr., OL Jacob Rizy, CB Kindle Vildor, LB Riley Wilson and P Mitch Wishnowsky (pronounced - wish-NOW-ski). Wishnowsky is the only player of that group that was not in camp with the Patriots.

I see what you’re saying. But I would think one wouldn’t be able to see the white line if that was the case.

You can see he stepped out before the ball crossed the plain, do you see that too. Not that I’m complaining but looks pretty clear. The underlining dirt is kicked up.

It seemed like the team was filled with nerves and butterflies. Thankfully, halftime they had a chance to catch their breath and regain composure. The offensive line definitely improved in the second half. During the final drive, I turned to my son and said, that the last play appeared to be in slow motion, but in a good way

Talk about a tale of two halves. PSU fans around us were crushed. PSU has a good QB and a lot of hype around the program with the new coach. I think they will have a good year.

Got out of Portland with the W and a lot of work ahead, but with this coaching staff, I feel we're well positioned to do it.

Portland recovered from COVID in terms of people returning, but it hasn't recovered the old downtown economic model. COVID accelerated several things that probably aren't going back:

Before COVID:

Office workers > lunch > shopping > happy hour > restaurants > downtown businesses

Now:

Remote/hybrid workers > fewer daily commuters > less weekday foot traffic > less demand for downtown retail/food/office space

I, too, am coming to the realization that this mountain is a little taller to climb than I thought.

My mom lived in Dallas at the time, so after the Stanford victory, we decided to go. The weather was extremely hot, and we were actually leading 3-0 at the end of the first quarter. Great time.
