Looked who washed up on the seashores of ol' Espanita, my man! I just Googled Rota and that looks like my kind of place, how are the beaches and seaside bars? #1 on my bucket list is still running with the bulls over in Pamplona, so when that happens, I'll let you know.

As far as making up the catches, the kid from Orange Lutheran who played last season as a FR, Hennesey I believe the name is, was a reception machine in HS and should be the same at UCD. He falls into the AWG category, but is always open and can catch everything. The MD kid will be nice as well, but the #1 contender is going to be the #6 LadDanian Streets. Remember the name.

    58 seconds seem slow. Correct?
  • Pacifico2

Yes, for collegiate 400m that is slow. Not all track times equate to football. Recruiters want to see 100m/200m times and film is the ultimate indicator. I've seen kids with slow track times because they were in the wrong events start training for combines and evaluations get down into the 4.5-4.4 range for the 40

luckily, nobody ever has to run 400m in a football game

Anyone get the opportunity to make it to the scrimmage today? If so, would love to hear your observations.

Glad to see you back on AST, Sailorgabe! Congratulations on your move to Spain which is one of my most favorite countries in the world. My paternal grandparents were from Madrid.

My wife and I spent 10 weeks traveling on our own throughout Spain 11 years ago and we have been talking about going back in the next year or two. My wife spent her junior year of college abroad in Madrid during the Franco era so Spanish comes back to her fairly quickly once she spends time immersed in the language for a while. We are considering going back to Madrid and then up to the Basque country and driving across northern Spain, down through Portugal and back into Andalusia.

We traveled by train and car and spent time in Madrid, Segovia, Sevilla, Toledo, Barcelona, Granada, Córdoba, several small towns in the Pyrenees and many Pueblos Blancos in Andalusia including Jerez de la Frontera right next to where you live now in Rota. I followed the Aggie games whenever I could but the time difference made it difficult
    .
I hope your jazz bar goes well. We'll stop in and say hello if we are near Rota on our next trip. All the best until then and GO AGS!

We need a gold Aggie helmet to send over (or deliver in person) for Gabe's bar.

This was my thought as well while watching the scrimmage last week.

I didn't make it out there, bit of a trip from Maryland for a Friday scrimmage. No articles on the athletics website or in the Enterprise yet about it and no video updates on the athletics youtube since the first day of practice.

Defense was pretty dominant yesterday, Teeg Sloane was particularly impressive

I think #17 is Cole Tannenbaum. Eason seems to have changed numbers again. . What is source of the picture?

    Our online roster shows:
    - no info on Taumoepeau (10), no picture
    - roster shows Eason 14, pic is 11
    - Kollock (12) looks solid
    - Tannenbaum (17), not on roster, a 5th-year Sophmore
    - only 4 QBs on the official online roster
    - six quality control coaches, lots of staff facial hair

This is our #1 sport, ICA can't get it right. A student intern could.

Not important to Senior Associate AD for External Relations, and Chief Marketing Officer Danielle Shank.

Plough said Tennenbom was to be joining the team late, as he is a grad student and had not completed enrollment. I believe enrollment is a prerequisite of being on a roster. This is his last year unless he gets some exemption. He entered the portal before last season, but didn’t join a team, costing him a year of his five year window.
Taumoepeau is a walk-on. Players pre Davis bios are usually copied from the signing day press release, no scholarship - no bio is the result. This is wrong, some have impressive and interesting bios.
Eason’s number changed mid season last year. I don’t know why he’s on his fourth number, unless maybe #14 was in the laundry.

I believe it is pretty standard to update rosters all at once and at the end of Fall camp vs. updating it in small increments from Spring-Fall. Some won't make it through camp, and others won't show at all, like the Idaho pair. It is frustrating as a fan, but I understand waiting until the end of camp to update the roster, and I'm sure other programs have a better system. Would be interested in how they pull it off

I’m not critical of them not updating the roster incrementally. I was giving reasons why some of the desired info in movielover’s list was lacking.
