Would Southern Utah, or Weber State, be a better road game to attend? Facility, town, atmosphere, game?

I actually think St. George where Utah Tech is might be cooler and more exciting than Cedar City. While I think utah tech further dilutes the big sky to an extent, I do think St. George is a cool, growing metro that is really close to some great established national and state parks (whereas it seems like Cedar City is more small college town).

Now to address your actual question. If you like parks and nature there is awesome stuff around Cedar City (weber has cool mountains too) but I think SLC area is cool to explore from an urban sense. The mountains are not super far from weber, but cedar city has that red rock feel and awesome national monuments like cedar breaks. The views from both stadiums are amazing. I think Weber probably has a better crowd (?) and nicer stadium (they also have a great basketball arena). Weber has a pretty big stadium with it being kinda like cal memorial in the sense that its cut into the hill on one side. The weber and suu track situation puts you a bit away from the game though. Cedar City vs Ogden seems more like college town (but sleepy still) vs suburb...

anywhere but Southern Utah. Their stadium is small, low attendance/energy, nothing in town but strip malls. Zion National park is the only draw.

Weber State’s stadium is really nice. I didn’t have any time to explore the area. St George has the advantage of a great location if you want to explore all the national and state parks. But, as someone mentioned, stadium and game experience is lousy.

I'm with , Weber if you have a chance and we're selecting a football experience and not a camping trip.

St. George was a unique experience. It felt like another planet. It was my fist time in that part of Utah.
I enjoyed Weber State as well. Flying into Salt Lake and seeing that area was cool. Weber has a nice stadium, as does Utah Tech. I've never been to Southern Utah, but many on here have.

I say go to both WSU and SUU! If I had to choose one it'd be Weber for ease of travel and atmosphere.

The SUU experience - especially the stadium experience - left a little to be desired. It's interesting with the whole Coliseum concept, but if improvements haven't been made since 2013 (last I saw it) - then you might be disappointed, still lovely country though, and as someone who has seen both - I think St. George has better expansion potential, better proximity to Vegas and a really cool town, nice people, the students showed out pretty well for the Davis game last year, and it was a tough game, they played hard, Aggies just outclassed them in the skill game, but Utah Tech could go on a run if they can find a quarterback to lead them and the murder schedules finally end.

Also, to St. George's credit, we were having a few pops around campus and nobody gave us any kind of a hard time. Also, BOTH schools need to ditch the track - but everybody's got budgets...thing is, Utah schools have a lot of space, they should separate facilities.
