So they practice today, Spring Game tomorrow, and all the Picnic Day activities? Last year featured an evening drive-by at a local park if I recall, good times. Hoping for sideline reporter SailorGabe to keep bringing it with the breakdowns.

Rep distribution tomorrow will maybe tell us something about where the QB competition stands heading out of spring ball and into training camp. Sounds like it will likely be 50/50 with a lot of neutral coachspeak after. This thing is going to last until approximately the weekend of August 8-9.

You'll also have a feel for what the O-line is really going to be tomorrow. The Defense will crank it up and you will see pressure unlike they've seen in the last couple weeks, unless the head ball coach puts a governor on them. Things will really speed-up for the OL tomorrow; we'll know where the cracks in the wall are after tomorrow. It will also be an opportunity to see the mettle of the QBs because they will be live and they will be harassed, hurried, and hit. That is what I would be evaluating; how does he respond, how does he lead, when the stuff hits the fan. Because it will. It's spring ball and rare is the Offensive Line anywhere that ever dominates the spring game.

TE depth concerns me at this juncture. SailorGabe likes Pohlman, that's good to hear, but nothing is really ready yet behind him it sounds like. Still have a few months to go and develop, big summer for the young guys. What sort of shape will Williams return in?

I'm looking forward to hearing about the Safeties. We're elite at Corner, we hopefully have a healthy, All-American candidate playing for pro scouts returning at one of the Safety spots, and it sounds like there's a solid group of suspects to fill the spots around him. The Idaho transfer is the one I really want to hear about. You need 5 that can play in Coombs' scheme.

Tomorrow will be fun. Prayers up for the Ags to come out healthy these next two days!

I watched the qb drills today on Biggs field then on to the stadium. I thought kollock was throwing the better balls today. But on the mobility drills I thought Traynor had the edge. Anybody’s guess at this point.
    Troy Taylor out there today.

I'm sure Taylor is giving his opinion to Plough on the Kollock/Traynor battle...my guess is Taylor loves Traynor for his ability to extend the play.

Hopefully a lot of folks turn out for the game. For those that can go please give us any observations and details you have! I would go, but it's a little bit of a trip from Maryland to go to see for myself.

Cleveland with a good drive. Stalls out.
Kollack comes back with a 15 yard scramble for TD.

Both quarterbacks need work. I thought Cleeland was a little better getting rid of the ball vs taking the sack. Lots of 60 yard punts but punt protection still needs work.

Turnout was low but rather typical for the spring game.

Plough in the Aggie Pride podcast highlighted players who stood out this spring
Likes the QBs. and how they both bounced back from adversity
    Offensive line deep, more athletic.
    Fisher looks great
Mateo Perez going to have a good year
Koen Parnell a freshman WR really popped
Drew Cofield is the best corner in the country. Added weight.
Few and Fernandez are "wrecking practice"
    Sievers runs the ahow
Teeg Slone forcing a lot of turnovers at safety.
    Three good kickers

Definitely a defensive show in my opinion during today's spring game. Honestly it might be a flaw that I view this as a great thing I have trust in Plough and staff always with the offense if the defense can look this good on every Saturday we're going to be damn good in my opinion.

Parnell only played five games his senior year, but look at these advanced plyometric workouts! Solid build, 6'2".

Attended a portion of the Spring game yesterday and first of all, what a great idea to plan the game on picnic day! Small crowd but my guess is that after a few years it will become a bigger event. Also, what a wonderful opportunity for any future player to have an unofficial visit (lots for the entire family to see/do around the campus).

Yes, I was interested in the QBs and other positions but for the day, I was focused on special teams. All of our kickers looked great! It was nice to see the focus on kickoff coverage.

Also, my early season prediction is that one player, Xzavior Guess, will have a "breakout" season starting with punt returns, expanding his roles to other special teams, and then moving into the rotation as a receiver by the end of the year.

I’m intrigued about Xzavior Guess. Did he play in the Spring game?
