Revenge time! But we can only hope that Jaden Alexander’s 35 points against the Aggies on Jan. 3 was a one-time thing. Ronald Jessamy is second in the Big West in blocked shots with 44, 13 more than Niko Rocak. Dailin Smith remans a scoring threat at 16.9 ppg. The facts are that CSU Bakersfield is next to last in the conference in points scored and they allow an average of 6 more points per game than they score. They were pretty much annihilated by Cal Poly on Thursday, losing 104-79. They’ve lost five in a row including their last three at home. Hopefully, the Ags can make those numbers six and four. After the embarrassing loss to CSUN, this is a game the Aggies should and must win.

We've lost 4 straight to Bake and, if we play the way we did at CSUN, it will be 5 straight.

this one is critical; can't allow Bako to have a tiebreaker over us, just in case the 2nd half of the road-heavy schedule takes us down toward the bottom of the conference. They don't have nearly the firepower of CSUN, and i can't imagine Alexander going off again.

    this is a 2:00 tip-off, correct?

Stokes and Daugherty started, I’m guessing for offense. Up 5-2 after 4:00. Sluggish on offense with that lineup

Camera work, agsin, is terrible. I like this announcing pair from what I remember. Offense is really out of sync

Bako’s approach is muck up the game as much as possible. Lots of grabbing, backcourt pressure…we really should beat these guys easy

Ugly half ends with us up 36-35. We screw up another last possession (I like Wilson but he’s not TY). No points from Wilson or Chappell, only a late 3 points from Cooper. I don’t like his this hand is progressing.

I feel a bit Schizophrenic texting to myself!

I’m reading. Not sure what’s happens to this team. We competed with Nevada and Colorado for 80% of that game. We looked dynamic and now we look out of sorts

I get starting Stokes and Daugherty to send a message about defense…..but it’s out a damper on our offense.

I’m a big Stokes fan (he defends and rebounds) but he’s SO reluctant to shot. Niko is a bit off. We need a few 3’s to go down, and (I hope) we roll.

Starting stokes over cooper is ridiculous. Cooper is arguably our best offensive player.

    And he’s a fine defender.

This is painful to watch. Down 5 with 12 to go.

Starting to think it was a good idea to get insurance on my flight to Vegas

I’m not a fan how coach Les talks/yells at the players sometimes. We are up and about to win with final seconds left and he was still fuming and swearing.
It seems like the players were zoning out when he acts that way.
I get he is passionate and wants to win but I am not of big fan of that kind of behavior.

Not that big on stokes but he had a great game

The Ags finally beat Bake 80-72 after 4 straight loses to them. Man, did we ever need this one!

absolutely! My wife is currently looking at tonight’s games to figure the best outcomes for us! Bako won’t be in Henderson, nor will Riverside. Who else will be left out? I’m feeling better about our odds.

What I like about Stokes is that he’s scrappy snd pisys bigger than his size. He gets rebounds and isn’t afraid to muscle up on defense. Hopefully this game gives him confidence in offense - he’s been so reluctant to take shots!

Conner saved us on offense along with Daugherty

I like Stokes a lot as well for all the reasons you mentioned and, as a true freshman, he's going to get better and better for a long time ahead. I hated seeing him get a T after he made a tough shot in the paint with 2:30 to go that put us up by 6. Les gave him an earful but left him in the game and he continued to play well all the way to the end of the game.

Deepest apologies I totally messed up on the time and paid the price because I missed it entirely, thinking it was on at 4:30 here. Glad they won, but doesn't seem like they played very well.

Let me just say that, as an Asian American Aggie from the Bay it's been cool to see Sevilla make an impact on the court

I’ve been watching Sevilla brothers in the EBAL for many years. His parents are really nice people, and Connor is a kid anybody can root for!

His older brother is now at Idaho. His oldest brother was at Sonoma State and younger brother is tearing it up as a junior at Daugherty Valley

Just watched the reply and have three observations: 1. I see that Jaden Alexander, who scored 35 up in Davis, was hurt and out of this game. 2. The Aggies outscored CSUB 31-15 in the last 9:30 of the game by playin good defense and making a whole lot of free throws. 3. I take this game as a bad sign because they barely got by a team that los to Cal Poly 104-79.
