The Aggies will try to continue their winning streak when they visit Spokane tomorrow night.

The Zags have their own 2 game win streak on the line, though their overall record currently has them as the 5th best team in the WCC, in the midst of a challenging preseason slate. Lauren Whittaker is the leading scorer (19.6) and rebounder (8.7). Allie Turner contributes 14.9 ppg, to complete the list of players in double. Figures. Jaiden Haile (5.2) provides rebounding support.

Coming off an incredible comeback win against Hawaii, UCD continues to feature four players averaging double figures: Ryann Bennett at 18.2 ppg, Megan Norris at 13.6, Nya Epps 11.8, and Avery Sussex with 10.2. Norris paces the Aggies in rebounding at 10.5 a game.

Score looked pretty sad at halftime, but the Aggies had a very strong second half and kinda made the loss look respectable.

Looks like it was a tale of 2 halves with Gonzaga winning the first half 53-24 and the Ags winning the second half 48-30 but the win goes to the Zags 83-72.

Yep..I meant Zags not Ags! I shouldn't be posting with mind fog after midnight after coming home from the Aggie football win...my fingers and mind were not in sync!

Agreed. I hope we don’t have to depend on comebacks during conference play.

On the plus side, we weren’t able to regroup against Stanford, so maybe this young team is learning.
