I think they will take it considering the switch to a night game one week into sales, the cool weather by CA standards, a opponent from across the country without a huge Montana type fan base, and before finals.

That team was 14th in total defense and we made them look like a junior college. Confidence booster for a deep run.

Hamstrings can be a nagging injury that's slow to heal if it's a bad pull. Trendt Carrade also left the game with a shoulder injury. I hope we have him and Psyk for the Illinois State game. Losing those two would be a serious hit to the D line.

The whole stadium was having fun tonight. Lots of dancing in the crowd during the commercial breaks with the music pumping. I thought the announcing and the music were great throughout the game. It felt good to get up and move to the music just to keep a little bit warmer! It one of the coldest Aggie games I've been to. The fog just sets down a chill.

it sure was cold. I had thermals and multiple layers and still had to buy a blanket at the half. I don’t know how those guys in the Aggie pack stayed shirtless for so long!
I think the cold temps did scare a few from attending but for the ones who attended all seemed to having a blast.

It was definitely cold but at least it wasn't windy. That would have been much worse.

Coach is happy!

I was super proud of the students. They were loud and it looked like they were having a lot of fun. The “you can’t do that” chant cracked me up.

Great game and good atmosphere. Turned out I had a seat behind Mitch Dixon’s parents. Students were loud. Had to educate the cow dressed students that they were Holsteins. Loved the smell of alfalfa and cow barns near tailgate - sticking to the ag roots. Serendipitous moment when walking back to my motel I helped a stranger get directions and it turned out to be the Rhode Island University president. He was in the UC Davis faculty earlier in his carrier. Nice low-key guy. Turns out we were in the same motel.

Defense really stiffened in the second half. Pinnick is so talented and elusive - really turned to his legs when needed and threw some nice balls.

you should have asked him if the Rams are happy to play in JV. Jk that is pretty cool. I hope he enjoyed his visit despite the Ags win.

As an aside, the camera work was great last night!

Quite pleased with the broadcast, the atmosphere in the feed was great, and they put Davis in a good light. I think the team needs to get used to there being more cameras around and it being more for the refs to draw from on close calls - the reviews are going to happen, be prepared accordingly.

Can someone explain to me how that FG by Ridley was seemingly really close and not reviewed?

Somebody can look up the rule, but I want to say that if you kick it over the goal post, like Hunter did, and in the refs estimation the ball crosses the plane of the goal post at any point by rule you call it a miss. That's the only explanation I can come up with, because it sure looked close to slightly inside the upright from the camera feeds, but we did not see directly under the goal post for the definitive look.

I will say Hunter did miss that field goal, but he was kicking the snot out of the ball last night. His leg looks very strong, and that could be huge for us next Saturday.
