Hoo boy, this is slightly tempting, but still not gonna do it. The locks might be changed when I get home. No hotel needed!
Edit - Never mind. That departure is local time 5:15, and the game starts at 2. Phew, now I don't even have to consider it. Although, there is a 6AM flight Sunday morning, that would have me back home by 10AM...
@AggieFinn That interview should be sent to all high school coaches that coach prospective QB recruits. I was impressed with the detail Coach Plough provided with regard to QB reads and coaching, and multiple specific plays in the Illinois State game. Contrast that with Hauck press conferences when someone asks him about a play and he says “I don’t recall that play”. Added to the QB carousel he plays. If you were a recruit, where would you want to play?
The Bobcat board is talking about how Montana lost a QB to Montana Tech and lots of speculating on poor QB development in Missoula. I mean obviously they are rivals so there's some skepticism there but still.
I don't know. My cousin's son who joined me Saturday for the football/basketball double header responded with, "That's not bad at all. I've never been to South Dakota." Ah, the days of being 22 with no wife, kids, mortgage, etc. ;-)
@69aggie We'll be watching the game at my parents' house while my mom and daughter bake a bunch of Christmas cookies. I'm sure you'd be welcome to swing by.
Oh, if I'm playing QB - a passing QB - it's no question, I'm coming to Davis, though it is an ultra-competitive atmosphere in that room.
Though you see all this RPO from Plough - and it only has two threats currently, with little/no threat from #7. When that changes how will the offense evolve?
"Dr. House was a practicing Board Certified Urologic Surgeon until 2017 and currently lives in Dallas, Texas with his wife Karla, son Lukas and daughter Lena."
Dallas, TX - CLOSE ENOUGH! Sounds like an accomplished dude, what a gift! My goodness...
"I owe a lot to USD for giving me the opportunity to excel, on the field and in the classroom, the operating room and the boardroom. The scholarship I received changed my life," commented Dr. House. "This donation is my way of paying it forward, so future student-athletes can have the same shot at success I had. It's not just about football—it's about giving the next generation the tools they need to succeed, academically and athletically."
When people disrespect sports, especially football, and point a finger towards eliminating them and pursuing nothing but academics I think of the countless stories of sports being able to transform certain lives and families. You have to do it right, but sports can be a transformative bridge into an amazing life.
United economy is major punishment. The seats are so squeezed together that you have to partially close your laptop bc of the leaned seat in front of you.
