I couldn't decide. I voted for turkey but for the leftovers. But I'm currently craving mashed potatoes. The pumpkin pie is the best. Surprised football isn't ahead with this sports website. But probably a small sample size.

Just had an enjoyable meal at Tower Cafe in Sacramento, what a unique place a solid meal.

We originally planned to go to Sampino’s Kitchen at Joe Marty’s - next door, but they were closed.

No, it tastes oystery. Is the Tower Cafe near the old Tower Theater across form the original Tower Records?

Yes it is but the the Tower Records store has been long gone.

The Tower Records store on Broadway also went out of business and was sold in 2006. The spot became a Dimple Records store until the owners retired and shut down the location in 2019, along with seven other stores. Months later, the building was demolished.

I'm a huge movie buff, and my hard disc collection started in earnest going to that old Tower Records location in Davis. They had a huge selection of films, and music of course, inside that place, used to go there for at least an hour each time I went. Such a cool place, miss it.

Hard to believe that little record store on Broadway became a huge chain all along the west coast. Too bad online music killed it off.

Turkeyberry sandwiches after Thanksgiving are The Best. Good bread, dressing, cranberry sauce, and sliced turkey. Epic.
