To be fair to the commentator, he probably hasn't watched much Davis tape and is assuming the passing offense is at least somewhat competent for a D1 program.

Outside of Larison and Kennedy not many bright spots. Defense was porous against the pass and got bailed out by timely turnovers while the passing offense continues to be anemic... worse than anemic... mega-anemia

I was anticipating a screen like the one to Tompkins at NAU. Over the middle has been a bit problematic with Hastings (deflections/interceptions. If the Ags had a decent deep passing game I would go over the top. Bengals have been focused on stopping the run.
