I think it'll end up like the other games we've had against middling FBS teams where they'll realize some of their units can beat ours but others won't -- like I remember how SDSU had to abandon the run and just try to get it to their best WRs and how SJSU was running the ball at the end well wen it was too little too late.
Tulsa has talent but I'm thinking they're not good enough that they can stomp a good FCS team at every aspect of the game.
Yeah that's totally fair. I'm expecting a lot of action for their TE down the line. Their QB has all day to throw and it seems like they're looking for an easy big play but the Ags defense has kept them in check
agreed. I think Hawkins wanted to take time off the clock and give the defense a breather, but the if it doesn’t work mix it up. If they are going to win they are going to have to score more so why not open it up.
Maybe someone can enlighten me on the coaching strategy. Does the staff think they adjusted pass coverage, and want to re-establish the run first? Or maybe just overthinking it?
