Not impressed with Gruden's comments.

The tape showed catches, the tape showed audio of you saying how much you liked him, in game and in press conference. Simple truth was, you wanted to store a bunch of QBs in the cupboard and didn't have the space for Doss...and he bolted. Case closed. The tape was fine.

Gruden went from positive to a small remark.

So Keelan was an insurance policy. 16 catches, 1 legit drop? Does Gruden feel burned? No need for the remark, just say QB a higher priority.

I hope Doss stays classy. I heard he also made great catches in practice?

Gruden wears his attitude on his sleeve...he's not one to mince words and comes across as a bit cocky...

Raiders gambled on Doss falling in love with being a Raider, and taking a PS offer at no relative cost to the organization.
It was a cocky move and they lost a good player who did what was best for him.

And now several sources (SI, NBC, CBS...) are reporting that Raiders may suspend Antonio Brown after an argument with Raiders’ GM.

Wouldn't that be something if the Raiders lost out on Doss and Brown?

Let Gruden deal with Brown. Mayock and Brown are two totally different people.

Raider situation is becoming a soap opera. Keenan is fortunate to get out of there.

Predictions on when Doss will make the 53 man roster for the Jags? They seem to have a history of signing Wide Receivers who perform off the practice squad with Keelan Cole being the latest one

Antonio Brown has been released by the Raiders. Will be interesting to see if they attempt to sign Doss off the Jaguars practice squad.

Good for Doss! I just think it's better for his career now to stick with the plan and stay out of the melodrama that is Gruden and the Raiders.

I don't hate the move, especially if he sees potential in getting to the Jags active roster anyway, it's less of shiteshow than the Raiders right now

Keelan Doss just got signed to the active 53 roster for the Raiders and a big pay raise... making 795,000 now. Way to go Keelan! The Raiders knew they made a big mistake.

So this means he will actually play, right?

The full timeline is... Keelan gets cut by the Raiders as they trimmed the roster to 53. Keelan signs with the Jaguars practice squad even after getting a practice squad offer from the Raiders. The Raiders then inquire about Doss again so the Jaguars raise his salary to active squad minimum despite still being on the practice squad. The Raiders sign Keelan to their active 53 man roster. It's been a wild couple of days for him.

Raiders gave him the same salary offer as the Jags ($495,000), but also included a $300,000 signing bonus and a spot on the 53 man active roster. Congrats to Mr. Doss.
