Yes, big time. I watched both of them send the bombs flying. Harper is a lefty, which adds a different dimension. I was super impressed with both.

Pinnick's also on the baseball roster, but I doubt he plays given the football time commitment. He was a .160-ish-batting outfielder in HS according to Maxpreps.com ; did Nicholson consider converting him to pitcher, because of the whole quarterback having transferable skills thing ? At .160 he would know a lot about making outs; the trick would be applying that to getting other people out.

If anyone goes to the scrimmage today, would love a recap with respect to any player(s) that stand out.

Plough gives recognition to three new corners,Ty Richardson, Trey Carr, and new freshman Drew Cofield, two young defensive linemen, Reyne Mayo and Jake Williams, and a redshirt freshman offensive tackle David Portesano, three fast but smallish receivers, Stacey Dobbins, Zach Jones and Sam Gbatu one of whom, Zach Jones, hasn’t seen much action yet.
It's encouraging that guys in position of need seem to be doing well.
