The athleticism and length of LB is as scary as is the size and depth of Irvine.

Irvine still has a shot at the NIT if I understand the complicated NIT selection process. They will not give the Anteaters an automatic slot, but it will be based on their NET ranking, which is 75. Twelve slots go to power 6 teams not in the NCAAs. The other 20 slots can go to schools based on their NET.

I liked this game a lot better when we were up 16.

We came out firing hot and were playing outstanding defense. We built a 16 point lead and then had some defensive breakdowns and missed some easy shots while letting Hawai'i seize all the momentum. That was a discouraging...

Ags have tended to be a good second half team.
