Langley has been here four years, but only played in one game as a freshman.
Cotton played three years, nine games as a true freshman, no redshirt year.
But both listed as juniors, one based on eligibility, the other by academic year. They don’t have a standard method for the roster.
Gabe was a great one. Wesleyan -> SF City College -> Davis. Interesting story for him, injuries? Hardly played in HS or college until arriving in Davis. Finished #8 all-time @ Davis with 2,116 yards in just 2 seasons. Where there is a will, there is a way!
Recognized him at Causeway. Nice guy.
Manzanares was injured in at Wesleyen and missed a year after some spot playing as a freshman.
At CCSF, which he attended for one year, he was behind a player, Kristoffer Olugbode who averaged 141 yards a game for CCSF. Olugbode didn’t do much at his next stop, Idaho.
Opening the first 3 on the road isn't great. But, not playing at EWU, not playing Montana. NAU at home. Weber is not that good. Not leaving California for 6 weeks, with 2 byes. Idaho down year?
Roice Cleeland transferring in from UW where he was a walk-on guard. One of Cam’s kids. Prepped at Portland-Jesuit. Should have 3 years of eligibility.
Last offensive lineman we brought in from Northern Oregon was Riley Gallant, a real road grader out of Central Catholic, was one of Gould's guys, but finished up under Hawkins. Had some huge blocks in the 2018 quarterfinal game in Cheney on that go ahead scoring drive in the 4th quarter.
Seems incomplete as relates to Sac, only 7 guys.. i think they only are listing transfers from west coast schools, i guess they only consider if the source or destination is a major program in the west and Sac isn’t.
Ags offer Will Weber out of SJCC, DE / edge, 6'4", 265, 8 sacks on the year, #1 in his league and 9th in the state. It's his 3rd DI offer. Leland HS / San Jose product, his first offer is from West Georgia.
I don’t know he would have accepted an offer from Davis. in Wikipedia it says that he sent letters to every FBSteam and had two offers from FBS teams as a result. Unlikely that Davis under new coach Gould would have looked like a better option than Wyoming under a coach the freshly arrived from FCS champion North Dakota State.
