I just received a link to a website chronicling Bob’s health issues. Sounds like he has been detailing with leukemia for awhile, undergoing a bone marrow transplant a couple months back. Long recovery ahead, but, from what I read, he’s doing okay. Check out the webpage and leave an encouraging word. Quality person. A real Aggie legend
Thoughts, prayers and best wishes go out to Coach Biggs and his family. From everything I have seen or read about him, he is, as Dr. Mike notes, "a quality person. A real Aggie legend." I believe he is a man of great faith. I trust that will be a great source of strength for him. A big "Go Ags!" to the Coach.
That's terrible news. Bob is right up there with Coach Socher in the group of Aggie coaching legends. He's a truly soft-spoken, kind and caring man who exemplifies Aggie Pride. My thoughts are with him and his family.
Prayers for Bob and family. Always a class guy, and mentally strong. Hoping all signs point to better health, we know he's got great doctors in his corner.
A member of the Cal Poly Athletic Hall of Fame passed away this week. I did not want to start a new thread so I posted it here. Why post it here at all? Because his name is Hank Moroski and he is the father of Aggie great Mike Moroski. Hank is one of only two former Cal Poly basketball players to have their number retired. He would have been 96 on January 1st.
