Ha!! I was just thinking about that the other day, if I could have any Aggie player's career I might want Michael's. He also has far and above the best W/L record during his tenure of any Aggie D1 player (something like 70-20) although unfortunately he only played in probably a third of those. It's been really fun to see him turn into a solid player this year.

I love how on Reddit these days the popular narrative among the fans of major progrms is now "everybody cheats", to which I get to respond ".... yeeaaahhh pretty sure we don't." There are problems with UCD ICA but integrity is generally not one of them.

On the subject of everybody cheating, SDSU also had our star player sit out recently -- he was implicated in the FBI-investigated scandals for being on a list for receiving loans from an agent. The school preemptively suspended him while the investigation was underway but reinstated him after a game because he was cooperating fully and there was no other evidence aside from a single reference.

The purported loan amount? $1400. Man the NCAA is picky.

Really feels like a dynasty is brewing at this point. The last few games show that the whole starting lineup can turn over and Davis is still potentially the best team in the conference.

Dang, the game summary is quite something. Bertsch had the best single-game offensive performance of the D1 era (34 pts, 14 FGs), which are both D1 records. She's probably going to set the all time UCD season scoring record this year because there are at least three games left to get 39.

If the other three win then I believe UCI would have a better record and UCSB, CSF, and UCD would be in a 3-way tie; UCD would lose the h2h tiebreaker with CSF for being swept and lose the next-level tiebreaker with UCSB for having a worse record vs CSF.

According to his thread from before this week's games that's still a strong possibility if Irvine, SB, and CSF all win on Sat

Basketball-wise it's better this way; harder for teams to prepare for the Ags if there's no updates.

Pretty much that, although I think he started 4 games and only played one quarter at South Dakota in what was effectively a trial run.

Started and lost against Nevada, NAU (threw two back-to-back pick sixes to lose it), and PSU. Then he started against ISU and struggled so Gould put Wright back in who won the game. And that was the end of JL's Aggie career other than maybe snap or two.

I think it's because we'd have a superior record over the second place team, Irvine. Would have to review the rules though.

sounds like a marketing and leadership problem and not an on-court performance problem regarding the Aggie Pack. Going to basketball games has to become the "in" thing to do in students' minds, and winning constantly is only part of that.
