Hawk's decision not to go for the TD from the one yard line on the last play of the first half shocked me especially with the terrible time we've had making FG's. He also sent a message to his offense that he didn't have the confidence in them to make one yard. This was not a good game from a coaching perspective.

The official attendance was only 8822 tonight. The attendance will be even less for the next home game if we lose at Montana State next week and come home with a 1-4 record.

Hawk usually plays to win and goes for it especially when the offense needs an emotional boost but he went conservative in this game and it cost us. We had every opportunity to win this game but Hawk's conservative choices, poor FG kicking and punting and an overthrown ball on a sure TD to Gilliam did us in.

That last pass didn't even give our receiver a chance to make a play on the ball...air mailed again...

Wouldn't help when the offense can't execute.

Terrible throw by Hastings...that was an easy TD for Gilliam...all Hastings had to do was softly get the ball to him.

Hawkins, the notorious riverboat gambler who often says you can't beat good teams kicking FG's instead of going for it, decides to kick 5 FG's with a kicker who is only making 33%. He also sent his offense the message that we can't get one yard. Why go so conservative now?

Hawk needs to give another QB a chance...we're dead in the water on offense.

Agree...I didn't think we looked that good against San Diego. San Diego got beat today by Valpariso so our win doesn't mean that much.

Barron is very accurate and the Weber receivers know how to get open. We're in big trouble at the moment...

Apparently, if you can’t join ’em, beat ’em, so his Wildcats went out two weeks ago and routed Utah State (also the Aggies), 35-7. This is a very good Weber State team trying to go 2-0 against teams nicknamed “Aggies.” Won’t happen. Take the Ags by 3.

Damn...she sounds like she was as obnoxious and inconsiderate as they come.

I really like that the Athletic Department is making these pressers each week but how hard is it to get a microphone to the people asking the questions so we could actually hear what their questions are? Personally, I'd be embarrassed to post a video interview where you couldn't hear the questions being asked. It's not like it's hard to get a working mic to the people asking the questions.
