Ditto. I have the same question.

In terms of pub food, i would suggest a limited menu. Have the best (name it) in N. California. There’s a place in Woodland called Zitos. They are known for their tacos. People come from all over to get tacos, even if they don’t drink. Needs plenty of seating. Years ago there was a mexican sports bar near baskin robbins. They had the best taco salad around, but didn’t survive as a sports bar. It was owned by the folks who own la fogata in Woodland.

Yeah, he was from Woodland. “Captain Aggie.” The last time i saw him he was using a walker. He got into trouble at some point for coming to the game after having a few too many. I don’t remember his name. But he did have a knack at getting the crowd worked up.

SDstate-NDstate, 14-14 at half. These dudes are all very physical.
  • MBB: Idaho (4-7) at UC Davis (6-4, 2-0), Wednesday, Dec. 18, 6:00 pm
Uninspired play. The Ags were just flat. Like others have said, FTs were about as bad as they could be. I actually started feeling bored and left early. I guess every team has an off day.
They had a new dance group at the game. Sad to see they ignored the national anthem and sat with their backs to the flag.

Harper and Hastings were neck to neck during spring ball. And i think Harper ran the opposing teams offensive schemes against our defense during the season. There will be competition for the position, but my guess is our guy will be Harper.

Great job as usual. Tough game in SD, but tremendous season. I’m going to miss the seniors and seeing their families at the games. This year is going to be challenging to duplicate.

So does this impact (maybe improve) our recruiting in the short term?

Lots of talent on that list. Finn, I’ll bet you a brew at Plainfield that its Harper.

Didn’t Vick coach the team on the longest yard, lol?

Our deep pocket guys are getting up there in the years. If it were me, I’d at least want to be around long enough to see the fruits of my labor.

Agreed. The trenches lost us the game with the yotes. I think we match up fairly well with teams in the top 25, but not the top 5. Maybe with a stronger pass rush the seams in the secondary will be easier to seal. When the qb has plenty of time, somebody is going to open up.

Our local paper, just 9 miles north of Davis, does not cover any UC Davis sports. I’ve written the editor several times without any luck. Sadly, they cover some of SLACs sports. Maybe they’re SLAC alumni.

    MSU - SD
I like the cats in this one. I think Mellot with his running ability will add an element that the Ags didn’t have. And i think the cats match up better in the trenches. Weather looks to be good, at least on Montana standards, a high of 47. Darn, the Ags could have competed in that.

Holding my breath on who were going to lose to the portal. Conners?
