Well, I would say Davis didn't run the ball well at all vs Southern Utah.

Eastern cut up our corners underneath pretty good last Saturday - gave up a few bigger strikes, but it was a steady set of cuts that seemed to move the ball well in the 2nd half. Expecting Wulff to air it out, get Huard warm early, defense will drive this game for Davis...they probably even need a couple of turnovers to make it a successful game overall.

I have no idea what the Ags are thinking offensively, if it's more of the same, or finally start stretching the defense vertically. Can't really change who you are mid-season, so I expect much of the same game plan, and hoping Hastings can gain some confidence early with some bigger shots.

The year Idaho and Montana State are gangbusters good...and the Aggies are dropping close games at home to EWU when they don't have to take on all the killers...not a time to be letting your opportunities slide through your fingers. Aggies need to ball out, and it starts with the coaching and preparation. A competent game plan with some decent adjustments should get this team, with this defense, 7 wins...anything less than an at-large playoff bid should be a huge disappointment to the entire program and the donorship.

Look at these offensive stats vs. EWU - a long of 15 yds passing for an entire game. I think in 2018, that would be a stat on the first play of the game. Far too conservative.

O'Sullivan was in the League for 10 or 11 years with 11 different teams. You don't have that kind of longevity with that many different systems without being razor sharp.

Had his big chance with San Francisco when Mike Martz tried to make J.T. the next Kurt Warner, but it didn't take...by then the League had figured out Martz' system, and compounded with way too many mistakes, namely turnovers, and a relatively poor offensive line - Sully was benched, and that more or less was the final shot in 2008 at a steady starting job.

Castles had his first major highlight vs. Austin Peay - see 8:40 for a nice catch and run TD late in the game: He looks like he has put on at least 15 lbs.

If the offense doesn't turn the corner by the end of the Montana game, like Perryman going to UW, I expect certain defensive players to take their chances in the portal and move up next off-season.
