This is cell phone footage from the Idaho sideline. For anyone who watched the game and the replays available - there was 100% no way to overturn the call.

  • 72nd Causeway Classic: UC Davis vs. Sac State
First spread I saw was Aggies -6.5.

This will all come down to whether or not SAC's talent/athleticism can result in more made buckets than they give up with their terrible, terrible defense. I'll be tuned in!
  • Sac State's bid for the Pac 12 Thread
SAC is going to have to take their medicine and prove themselves in either in the C-USA or the MAC if they want to go to the PAC or MWC.

My money is on a C-USA invite in November.

    It would be....

    Game 12: (RV) Sac State (7-4, 5-2 BSC) @ UC Davis (7-3, 5-2 BSC)
  • UC Davis @ Montana State
Gentleman, posted this on SacBuzz.com - I think we are on our way to a win and you're in Causeway Classic...

Idaho got their QB back last week and were dangerous enough to put a slight scare into UC Davis. Now they come to Sacramento Saturday night for Senior night in another do or die game for the Hornets. Can we get a home performance that mirrors some of our excellent road performances as of late? Wood (QB), Graves (WR), and Cummings (RB) are a scary trio. Would almost like it to pour rain, but it should be in the 60s and clear around kickoff.

Out of optimism and pure desire for an all time Causeway I'll say...

    (RV) SAC 48

    (NR) Idaho 38

    FINAL

Leading us too a win and you're in Causeway Classic...

    Game 12: (RV) Sac State (7-4, 5-2 BSC) @ UC Davis (6-4, 4-3 BSC)
  • WEEK 9 BIG SKY GAMES
There's a good chance SAC will be 7-4 (5-2 BSC) when we play the Causeway @ Davis this year. Which I'm sure you guys would love to see. Real opportunity to rip our hearts out.

Lamar game will be moved, but stay on the schedule as I heard it. So SAC opponents for '26 so far are:

    @Fresno
    vs. Youngstown
    vs. Lamar
vs. Unannounced FCS ($260k payout per Herder)

This is true. But he runs a 4.3, so he plays.

Interesting that Sac State offered to buy out your Stetson game and play @UCD in '26 and you guys said, nahhhhh.

It's hot over there, less amenities, etc. Would be nice to have a covered bowl or horseshoe. CalExpo awaits, I guess....

With Cal Poly in town, the away side will probably have at least a few thousand this weekend. The home side and VIP areas, and enzone stands should be close to full.

I would expect 15k+... And that's students, alums, the band, mostly jammed into one side of bleachers, ugh.

The first half was completely weird. To be fair to Mercyhurst, they are much improved and challenged YSU as well.

Once the run game clicked it there were 4 TDs on the ground in a span of 15 minutes. It was impressive.

This is a little overly dramatic, but lots of folks are definitely frustrated right now!.

Maybe with Dr. Wood being relatively quiet lately, something good is actually in the works? The President's address is Thursday 8/21. He usually avoids the athletics topics though because the audience is a consists mostly of sports hating superlibs and faculty.

How to you get 15k at a stadium with 10k capacity? I've been at what seem like sold out Causeways in Davis with the lawns filled and its like 11k, maybe?
