Hopefully our running backs can stay healthy this upcoming season. Gilliam really became a workhorse. Being able to cycle guys and keep em fresh should help the offense immensely.

Young and inexperienced doesn't necessarily mean bad. Kevin Blue came outta nowhere and has been great. Gould had a lot of experience as a coach (not necessarily HC) and well... We know how that went.

Now I would certainly be a little bit surprised if Plough was gone as well. Admittedly I was not 100% thrilled with the play calling this last season, but didn't he just receive a promotion last offseason? I guess that's the name of the game in coaching though, You have to be consistent or you'll find yourself out the door quickly.

Maybe a change of scenery will really benefit the defense. Yes our offense was way down compared the the previous season which will play a role in the win loss ratio but in terms of total offense we were still ranked in the top 25 in FCS in terms of yards and average in points scored. You're not going to win a lot of games when the defense is allowing well over 400 yards and almost 30 points per game. As movie pointed out earlier, we didn't necessarily score points in proportion to the number of yards we put up, but the defense simply wasn't good.

I'm fine with the program getting a nice chunk of change and not having to play what is most likely an automatic loss on the schedule.
