That was my thought as well... that there was a typo somewhere, but I figured that the names and positions were submitted by the team.

In this tweet about the Big Sky Kickoff attendees, Rex Connors is listed as a LB. We do have a huge influx of DBs, but it'd be strange to change the position of our star safety.

I'm not sure if the players can update directly, but they definitely talk to the guys who update 247. It's not just guessing on 247's part.

Interesting development. After their official visits from this last weekend, a pair of 3 star DL studs in Ta'a Malu and Jeremiah Nonu have updated their 247 profiles to having UC Davis as "warm" basically saying that they have increased interest versus some of their other offers. Malu has 13 total offers with 5 being listed as warm (Boise State, Idaho, Nevada, UC Davis, UNLV) while Nonu has 14 offers with only 2 being listed as warm (Nevada, UC Davis).

If we're being pedantic no one has been inked yet, but with the early signing date in December becoming the de facto standard signing period there is a push to get commitments early. Especially in FBS some guys will commit SUPER early. We are getting several commits though which is good!

Aesthetics has become a factor in landing recruits which is why so many teams have numerous uniforms. Getting solid recruits is imperative in the quest to win a national championship. Our traditional blue and gold will always be my preference, but I'm not opposed to alternate uniforms if if helps us get stud players in the door. These particular alternate uniforms aren't my cup of tea though, I would have preferred them to lean into a gold theme if they wanted something different.

I had a good feeling that Winkler was committed after this last weekend, but was waiting until he posted something. Bell is a transfer and I believe will count in the last recruiting class... should be on campus this fall.

He's a JUCO kicker so would actually be in the last recruiting class I'm assuming.

I was able to find that 3 of our offers are on official visits this weekend in Davis. All 3 have multiple FBS offers. Don't let them leave the building without committing! GO AGS!

I don't dislike it... It's fine, but I will always be partial to the blue tops and gold pants, but I'm fine with an alternate uniform as long as we don't go the Oregon route and have a different uniform for every single game. Not my cup of tea.

Without any gold though. Gives me University of San Diego vibes to be honest.

Small and fast seems to be the route we're going with WR under Plough. While I think it works to a certain extent against general FCS opponents, I think it's good to have some body type diversity as well. I think you benefit from have a couple of guys who are 6'2 to go with your sub 5'10 guys.
