, Cheney is pretty small. My son's hockey team played its home games there and I was up regularly. It's pretty, but there aren't a whole lot of restaurant choices. Spokane is close by and has more choices for food. It can be kind of grim in the winter, but it will still be nice enough when the game is played. I was planning to go, but my wife has to go to Rossland BC that day and I'm going with her instead of to the game.

Last season my son and I saw Montana State at WSU. The year before that, when Idaho was still a BCS team, I saw Montana State in Moscow for the Vandal opener. Both Montana and Montana State have played the Washington BCS teams regularly.

I remember that Santa Clara game; that was my freshman year and I was crushed. I'm sure I was at the CP game too but apparently I have excluded it from my memory and a good thing too, apparenlty. That was in the good old days when I could buy a pass for something like $5 that let me into all the games.

, thanks. The RB is a good player. I was really surprised we won so easily. I was with a group of friends staying in cabins along the St. Joe River in Idaho and had to walk to the far end of the compound for a wifi connection. I'm usually pessimistic but in the fourth quarter I decided I couldn't jinx us and called the game for us. I was looking at this site as well as the Vandal site in between ESPN updates, and Vandal fans were headed for the ledge. It looks like the wheels have fallen off.

If any of you decide to go to the EWU game let me know. Cheney is 90 minutes from Moscow and I try to make it to the Aggie games. That definitely wasn't Staben posting on the Vandal fan site. He is roundly despised by most of the posters because of his decision to step down.

BaseballAtDobbins, Idaho should scare us. Even if recruiting has been hurt since the announcement of the drop came out, there are still plenty of BCS players on the team. We'd better not count our chickens.

eastbayaggie, I haven't read that one. I remember reading some comments about the offensive line and the annual comments about our DBs.

Yes, Idaho fans are unhappy with Coach Petrino. They're not happy with his decision to play his son, though there are some fans who think the other contender isn't up to the job either. I don't think I've seen Mason play quarterback; I didn't make it to many Vandal games last year. Initially I thought Idaho would win this game for sure, but now who knows? If we win this one I might go out to Missoula for that game.
