Out of all the schools that have been mentioned in joing the Big West, UCSD would be my choice to compete against. It's a beautiful school with serious academic chops.

That aside, I personally would LOVE to see UC Davis join some iteration of the PAC 12. That move would do wonders for the school. It would increase diversity, exposure, donor money, and help a lot in recruiting.

Most private colleges participate in that program. When I worked at a private liberal arts college I literally "billed" other colleges for tuition expenses.

I'm not sure how Athletics friendly the new Chancellor will be at Berkeley. I think May will be very friendly towards athletics.

I am officially worried.

I hope Chancellor May noticed this and will be very athletics friendly once his tenure begins.

We need to get Berkeley, Stanford, UCLA, Oregon, Washington on our schedule.

This is a great step forward for the program. We need to keep Les and keep getting higher caliber players.

Going D1 was one of the best things to of have happened to our campus.

We give off a very nice quintessential college feel on tv.

Watching UC Davis highlights on ESPN does not get old.

It'll be Cal State Davis with the Berkeley Capanile in the foreground.

You know, that post above is about a week old. For some odd reason, it did not post until today.

I could be wrong, but I think I read it in the Davis Enterprise somewhere.

I was disappointed with LK on some fronts, but the Bee was really a noxious throughout her tenure.

The pepper spray incident was horrific. I'm glad we are pretty much passed that.

Aside from that, I really wanted her to succeeed. She did do some great things and she did have a great vision for us.

Hopefully, as already stated in a an article I can't seem to remember, Hexter stays on. He's phenomenal.

Perhaps when May is on campus he can reach out to LK and strategize to make UC Davis better. I highly doubt she'll leave with the baggage she has accumulated. We'll potentially have three high caliber leaders at the same time. This might actually turn out to be something good.
