It seems like a lateral move at best, but a smaller conference would allow it to operate like the P10 before expanding where each conference foe plays each other each season.

One potential drawback, depending on the size of a WAC FCS Conference, would be needing to backfill our schedule. We would probably still be indirectly dependent on the Big Sky if that were the case.

This sounds like a bad idea, and I would be surprised if Blue were considering it at all. Would be nice to have all the sports under one conference roof, but let's wait until the MWC kicks SJSU out and we can slide in there...
