I think his size has been a drawback. I’ve seen him play a couple times and thought he was more of a 5-11, than a 6-1.

I believe they use their limited academic exceptions in basketball. If we get a couple exceptions they go to football. Not so at UCSB. Makes the transfer process a bit easier.

FCS moving up to FBS

when people say ‘we should just move to the Pac12’ , these are the things outside football that they don’t realize. Beside the HUGE amount it would take to make football a Pac12 level sport, budgets for EVERY sport would skyrocket.

I’m disappointed I (probably won’t get to watch him in an Aggie uniform again and that he didn’t get a senior day send off (had to be one of the most popular Ag of the D1 era), but he out in his four seasons and played his guts out. A transfer would have been disappointing but he’s following his dream, so best of luck. Thanks for the great memories!
