that link shows a $12M price tag presumably set at the 2006 design date. that's seems like a lot of cash for the Gaels to come up with for baseball.
  • 2023 Week 1: UC Davis @ Texas A&M Commerce
worse than Arizona State in 2011? that was a blustery 104 at kickoff!
  • 2023 Recruits?
not too surprised. He played significant minutes in one non conference game and I thought he showed some potential. Maybe a sign that we’re planning to hit the portal for a big guy
  • Causeway Cup (?) 2022-23
according to an email sent today, the score is 35.02 to 14.17!

    Don’t ask

Surprised not to see a post or two on the first 2 games at Bako. 5-4 Friday night win, followed by a 14-7 comeback (down 7-1) on Saturday. Good for them!

need a sponsorship with one of the many marajuana farms! Lots of green there.
  • 2023 Recruits?
Metro State is where Caleb McGill transferred.

Your Hudson U takes reminds me of my dad’s take on Cabot Cove (Murder she wrote) : ‘beautiful place but someone gets killed there every week’

He also told me he was hoping a serial killer moved in next door when that house was for sale : ‘when they catch the guy on TV , the neighbors always say that ‘he was very friendly and a quiet guy’. Yep, perfect neighbor
  • Oregon State Road Trip
I believe we’ve been there. About 10 years ago, I umpired the Little League Senior division western regional in Salem. We took a road trip on one of the off days.

And I’ll use my United points to fly - 8 hours of driving is too much on this body .

Edit: wrong place. We hit Chinook Winds in Lincoln City. Also ate at this gem

I think we are a tenative ‘yes’. Relatively easy one day drive up on Friday, back in Monday with a side trip to the coast

i was just seeking the Big West message boards, and guys are starting to hit the portal. UCSD, CP, CSUN and Bake have been hit hard so far, especially Poly and UCSD.

and non conference is much easier

The Princeton team doesn’t look like the old Pete Carill teams. Some real athletes on that team.

Looking for a #24 Mikey Henn sighting.
  • Big West Tournament
that was a term I saw in one article where they mentioned the Hawaii had the biggest fan base at last year’s tournament.
  • March Madness
I watched most of the first half and Caleb was on the floor most of the time, although not much of the offense. Did he play much in the second? Seems like his stat line didn’t really change

gauchos, I think, will need to shoot well from the outside. I don’t think they’ll have their normal success driving to the hoop vs Bears
  • March Madness
that's brutal. that similar thing happened to us this year, correct? in that milwaukee tournament? anigwe or ade grabbing a rebound and throwing out to midcourt to avoid a travel?
  • March Madness
Vanderbilt won its NIT opener over Yale. Manjon had 18 points on 6-7 shooting, 2-2 from 3! Oddly enough, he had zero assists (team only had 8)

okay, I can still be ticked at the UOP home loss!
  • March Madness
Eastern Washington beat Washington State. That was one of the two preseason losses that disappointed me; the other was UOP. Maybe EWU wasn’t that bad.
  • Big West Tournament
shoot, I can’t find the article I meant to post. This is interesting

I think they were/are hoping the city of Henderson would embrace it as their event and drive ticket sales.
