  • FCS Playoffs Quarterfinals: UC Davis @ Eastern Washington v2.0
Big stop, no loss on the INT. Need a good drive and TD now

I don’t think anyone here is underestimating the HUGE challenge today. But when you go from a 3 win season to playoff quarterfinals on two seasons, you tend to get a little giddy. If pigs could fly, why not supersonic?

We have to be at out absolute best today, no mistakes and hope for a couple breaks to fall our way.

Kinda fun to be talking football in December. Right up there with basketball’s showdown with Kansas in the NCAA’s!

If they officiate tomorrow’s game like this one, our passing game will have a tough time. They’re mugging the WR’s off the line

I think DL in general is a question. I don't think Peacock played last game. Seems like we've been a bit patchwork since EWU. but, i believe they have injuries also.

    I think you’re right
  • FCS Playoffs Quarterfinals: UC Davis @ Eastern Washington v2.0
Doesn’t look like Vaughn has played since EWU.

Was it kraft or Crawford who came out last game with a shoulder? Not sure if they went back in.

Be interesting to see how healthy we are at WR. Seems like we’re getting a little thin there.

My strategy is fair catch EVERY kick, kickoff and punt. No fumbles in kick game.

hmmmm....woodstock all-meat pizza vs. tofu in black bean sauce......decisions, decisions.

And this : ‘There will be a student watch party taking place at Segundo Dining Commons this Saturday for the football game against EWU at 1PM. There will be an additional watch party Woodstock's Pizza Davis with half off pitchers of Bud Light and Gunrock Lager specials! Both begin at kickoff at 1PM! #GoAgs’

any viewing parties in the East Bay? Don't think we can make the trip up to the Grad, but I'd like to watch on a real TV with some other fans.
  • MBB 12/5: Aggies (2-6) at Northern Illinois (4-3)
i was listening off and on to the radio broadcast, and following via Live Stats. Didn't hear anything from Scott Marsh when I was listening, but i didn't turn on the broadcast until late first half.

No Gonzalez last night. Was that mentioned in the broadcast?
  • MBB 12/5: Aggies (2-6) at Northern Illinois (4-3)
I was thinking about the shooting : if the other three starters went 16-20 from the field we STILL would have been below 50%. That’s a lot trips (17) down the court without a bucket
  • MBB 12/5: Aggies (2-6) at Northern Illinois (4-3)
Shot in the mid 30’s. Not sure what we were in the first half, but it was pretty bad in the second. Hard to win when two of your top (expected) scorers go 3-20! Yikes
  • MBB 12/5: Aggies (2-6) at Northern Illinois (4-3)
odds show NIU as 8 point favorites. tough matchup for us, unless we are on fire from the field (and free throw line!!!)

Anybody here planning on the grad Saturday? My wife and I might make the drive up
  • How long do Coach Hawk and Coach Plough stay?
    ↪fugawe09
you have to work 5 years to vest in the retirement and the pension is calculated as (average salary)*(years of service)*(age factor). that age factor for recent hires tops at 2.5% at 64. so, even with 10 years of coaching, that pension isn't a huge amount. he's too late in his career for the pension to be attractive; however, the 'Savings Factor' that UC now offers is pretty sweet.
  • How long do Coach Hawk and Coach Plough stay?
I think Dan is here for the long-haul for all the reasons listed above. I can see Plough moving on to a FBS job, maybe a OC. He set records down at NAU with Cookus, and has put up some spectacular numbers here in a very short time. He has ties to Davis, but a move up would be appealing. If he does leave, I think little Hawk would be the likely successor.
