• Week 6: UC Davis @ Idaho State
I believe we were 3-15 for 37 yards in the first half. Might have the attempts off, but pretty sure on completions and yards. In comparison we were lights out in the 2nd!

As they say, only lose this game once. In other words, put it behind you, roll the next two and get ready for a furious final three games.

Just a disaster from the get go. They didn’t score off roughing the kicker, but that cost us at least 25 yards of field position- seemed we started inside our 10 all day. Never got any better. Gilliam is a stud

unfortunately, that's an era where onside kicks were much more successful than now. we're kinda screwed.

I thought he was in on that last play
  • Week 6: UC Davis @ Idaho State
I have the KHTK pregame on TunedIn so that’s a good sign
  • Week 6: UC Davis @ Idaho State
I’ll give all 3 (varsity, khtk and tunedin) a try before I have to hit the soccer fields. Has anyone been listening to the radio calls?
  • Week 6: UC Davis @ Idaho State
I’ll try different options from 12-1 while watching. I wonder if the varsity network only shows schools with archived content?
  • Week 6: UC Davis @ Idaho State
hopefully TunedIn still works or the Varsity thing will somehow work
  • Week 6: UC Davis @ Idaho State
when I clicked the ‘listen’ link for tomorrow’s game it took me to something called The Varsity Network. I downloaded the App and will listen while watching my 4 year old grandson’s soccer game.

Hmmm….I can’t find Davis in the search. Only show 6 Big Sky teams.

if he were a slot receiver, his name might not fit the top of the jersey.

university of beer is a good choice, but last time I was there they didn’t have food (the Thai place delivered there).

They added that Budweiser pavilion beyond the one basket for beer/wine and offers spots to stand and watch the action.

Grad was so convenient since it was almost across the street.

good points. The most important defensive stat, to me, is scoring defense. We’ve held our 3 quality opponents to 20 which should give us a chance to win every week. Our fourth quarters have been incredibly good, which is a sign of a quality team.
  • Week 6: UC Davis @ Idaho State
This game is huge; win and you’re 6-0 with two of the weaker teams in conference coming up. Never look ahead BUT a win puts us in a spot for quite a finish.
  • Week 6: UC Davis @ Idaho State
I guess what makes me nervous is that we really struggled on offense in spring. Have things changed that much since then? We were missing Gilliam, which effects us in many ways and we had two turnovers in March.

I expect a much closer game than Dunning
  • Week 6: UC Davis @ Idaho State
Spring game they head us to 300 yards and 13 first downs at our place. Is their defense weaker? Our offense much stronger? Took a last minute drive to win. Hopefully he get a confident accurate HR back, and unleash all our weapons. I can’t take another nailbiter this early in the year
  • Big Sky Games Week 6 and Other Games of Interest
Hopefully our band and student section can start practicing ‘who wears short shorts’ for homecoming.
  • Big Sky Games Week 6 and Other Games of Interest
We have to find a game picture of the coach and his pants! Can’t possibly be as short as the ones our coaches wore in the early 80’s!
  • Week 6: UC Davis @ Idaho State
he mentioned in the press conference that Faulk got in the game; I had no idea when. Good insight!
  • Week 6: UC Davis @ Idaho State
it wasn't AS full as Dixie, but it was pretty full. the band section was 1/2 full, but the rest of the east side was full. west side was full. berms had quite a few people, not as many as the Dixie mob, but much more than normal.

I’m watching the game now. Marsh does a decent job on play by play, although there are a number of misidentified players (we do throw to a bunch of guys, but….). Dunning wasn’t good, but I think that was a one-off. Scott Barry is pretty solid. Informative, usually doesn’t talk over the play by play. Doug Kelly is a bit droll and doesn’t add much insight. In Marsh’s defense, hard to get in synch when you have a new guy weekly. He’s certainly as good or better than most of the Big Sky guys I hear.
